I live in karratha so im conastntly around red dirt, red rocks the green trees get red dust on them and then they look red, same with the grass and anything else. . . haha Its not as bad as everyone says. . .once you know people it can be an awesome place but there still isnt that much to do

I'm a Mechatronic Engineer. At the moment, the project I'm working on is the commsioning of the biggest iron ore robotic laboratory in the world. It's pretty cool, but I don't like being in the middle of noware. I'm back in Perth now for the moment.

I had a lot more fun working for the automotive R&D company but the money just didn't compare with mining/resources.

lol, not sure what they pay the drafties. Don't know if they're looking for another one. Haven't heard anything at the moment anyway. If you like, you can have a look at their web site and get an idea of what they do. No harm in dropping in a CV if you're keen.

its nearly the middle of no where, its 100ish km north of karratha, and 100ish south of headland, and 70km north of roe burn..

it gets boring being there for two weeks non stop as theres SFA to do, theres a pub, and a gym, thats all

Damn! Newman in the summer..and in a tent. Hard core. Mind you I have to get a searched by armed guards when I go outside the wire. I screw with them though " yes i have some gold secreted about my person - I dare your to find it" ...I guess it's what your used to
