My mate have the genuine Ganador mirrors, on his R33 GTST, and they fit perfectly.

Unfortuneately no pics of the car with the mirrors, buy you wont be disappointed with the genuine Ganador mirrors.

If you want PM Babia (real name: Nikki) and ask him to if he has any pics. He is very busy with work, but may have a spare minute to send you a pic.

Any chance of a pic of your current copy/fake mirrors?

How do they get the indicator functionality? do you have to run some wires yourself to get both indicators on the mirrors and guards to work?

yeh mate i got a set of genuine ones on my r33 i bought them of a guy on the forums for $300 and they fit perfectly and in my opinion look awsome as. it wnt show the picture i attached sorry guys they do look really good anyways

the ebay ones are okay they fit good you need new screws and stuff to mount them properly.... but they look pretty decent but the cf looks cheap i would just paint them

oh and also they crack in cold weather.... my bro left his car outside in winter and the glass cracked

heres a pick of knock offs on my buddys silvia... alll and all not bad for 20 bucks haha

yehh i bought one off ebay for like $70 i thnk.. its fake carbon fibre with the indicator lights on them

looks really nice mann but my one didnt fit probably had to do some custom work at home (btw it was a home job)

but if you want it to fit perfectly try giving it to a professionally fitter or maybe the mirrors werent made to fit 'perfectly'.

I only fitted the passenger side becuase it took a blooody long time to install one mirror and i got lazy,so i been driving

around with two different side mirrors :) .

Also i havent connect the side indictor lights as my R32 is a 89 model and it dosent have a side indictor, it only has the front indictor

which connected to the headlight..connecting the indictor would be a harder job for me ...soo yehh i actually gave up on the

side mirrors.

None the less it looks good and improve the look on your car abit but the fitting can be a bi7ch..well to me it was :) .

Oh and make sure you get the electric one :whistling:

i can get pics for ya but i dont know how to post it up soo if you want give me your email and ill send it to ya.

I've got a set of ebay knock off ganadors and they are utter rubbish. Although it was advertised to suit the car, it still took custom work to get them fitted. The controls are reversed vertically, so down is up and up is down. Aside from that that, the mirrors themselves don't have enough adjustment to let me see out - passenger or driver side. At full right tilt all I can see is the back seat of the car through the rear side window. Also, whatever you do manage to see through them is appears magnified, the exact opposite from "objects in the mirrors are closer than they appear" warning you see on normal (convex) mirrors.

Highly un-recommended.

    • The question then becomes - was there any fluid coming from that hole before you did the rebuild ?    You may not have noticed, of course.   Depending on how you did the rebuild, the possibility has to be considered that somehow (cleaning ?)  fluid entered that hole and is now being 'forced'  out by small movements of the proportioning valve.   From the factory, there's actually a small rubber plug in that hole but with age and under-bonnet heat it's quite common for it to 'go missing'.  That rubber plug is designed to allow the venting process but also to prevent 'stuff' getting to the area (prevent corrosion, etc).   The plug is also not available as a spare part AFAIA. Personally I wouldn't race and buy a new master just yet but keep an eye on the area to see if the 'leak' continues.   If you're concerned about brake fluid damaging nearby paintwork, cable tie a piece of suitable absorbant material over the hole and remove/monitor occasionally.    Operation of the proportioning valve and the brake master itself won't be affected, but also keep an eye on brake fluid level, of course. In terms of a new master, the genuine part is getting expensive, unfortunately.  Amayama is showing AUD900+.   I was searching recently and there's an aftermarket part available from Japan made by 'Parts Assist': https://zenmarket.jp/en/yahoo.aspx?q=BNR32%2bBM50&p=1 Whether it's any good I have no idea, although in my experience Japanese aftermarket stuff is pretty good quality-wise.   The above site allows overseas buyers to purchase stuff more easily from Japan but there are fees and shipping costs, of course.   The original Japanese seller page is here: https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/p1197401228 Copper/Nickel is fine but I still prefer bundy tube and it's also cheaper.
