as for desternation i have no idea, the G.O.R will be out of the question as it will be to bussy. so if any body has any good idears lets hear em.

i did have the thought of maby a 3 day cruise up to wake field the 2nd race their and then return home the following day.

wakefield have a off the street program.

so if any body wonts to do this let me know.

INFO ON THE OFF THE STEET MEET.

"Wakefield Park also offers Speed off the Street Days, where road-registered street cars and bikes can run on the circuit for a small fee. Drivers/Riders can learn how their vehicle can really perform, in order to better understand how to control their vehicle on the road.

Just bring yourself and your street car and for just $110 per day or your road bike for just $120 per day (week days) you can experience what it's like to Drive/Ride around a race track. Drivers need to wear appropriate attire:

• Approved road use helmet (also available for hire at track)

• Neck-to-wrist-to-ankle clothing protection (could be long sleeve shirt and long pants)

• Closed in shoes (cover ankle to toe)

During the lunch break at some of our Speed off the Street Days, the V8 Challenge cars are available for Drives or Rides to anyone wanting to experience a Drive or Ride in a V8 Racecar.

R33GOD is tony, brent im CHEEZ. lol.

2ndly wakefield sounds awesome. as mentioned gor will be busy around xmas but we are more than open to suggestions for a cruise. we looking at doing something thats a bit more than a cruise and go home thing, we thinkin 6hours to get some where, dinner, pub, drive home next day sorta thing. so motels etc will be handy where ever we go.

i got 1 suggestion and i will get more info, a weekend up in albury-wodonga. i know a killer motel that has indoor/outdoor pools, on site restaurant and also buffet for brekky. its called LA SIESTA. ive been there a few times. just a thought.

daniel

Wakefield or Albury/Wodonga are a cruise up the Hume which isnt interesting. Depends if you are selling it from the activities once you get there or the cruise up. Anyone spending 6 hours on the Hume might want more than dinner and a pub before driving back again. :)

im impartial, we could do the gor and follow right through pas apollo bay and go further down but would be a little congested, traffic at easter will be a little hectik, but we are open to suggestions. at this point it was only a expression of interest stage.

we havet thought through everything yet

How about a camping cruise??

drive up to Licola on a friday evening to camp out in the Alpine National Park, drive back on sunday..

the drive up there is great once you get off the highway and the climb up the mountain is sealed and very twisty with sensational views...sure to impress.

basically you are camping in the national park amongst hill tops and the river, which has some nice trout for the fishing enthusiast and the wildlife comes out in force at night :(. Make sure to hide your food..

just a thought.

    • Is the panel filter one that is oiled? Have you ever cleaned or touched the AFM?
    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
    • It is the stock air box with the panel filter. Everything else is stock except the exhaust at this point, as I also went back to the cleaned 270cc injectors. I will check the RPM when the IACV is unplugged and report back.
    • As MBS suggested if this is happening when the engine is cold you're going to want to remove the intake air regulator and verify resistance + that the shutter is physically opening and closing. At -20C should be fully open, 20C half open, over 60C fully closed. At 20C should be 70-80 ohms. For AAC valve testing using a Consult cable see if you can raise and lower the idle by commanding more or less AAC duty cycle. Hopefully it's pretty linear as well, shouldn't be like 30% AAC valve is barely idling and 40% is 1500 rpm.
