Dani Boi
Ok if they are not rubber coated, if rubber coated then yes. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/200767-gym-and-supplement-discussion/page/407/#findComment-6960554 Share on other sites
No Crust Racing
Just these. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1-x-20KG-HAMMERTONE-STANDARD-WEIGHT-PLATE-HOME-GYM-EZ-GRIP-OK-BARBELL-PICKUP-/221254696326?pt=AU_Strength_Training&hash=item3383cebd86&_uhb=1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/200767-gym-and-supplement-discussion/page/407/#findComment-6960558 Share on other sites
Dani Boi
I thought you had an oly bar? If it's for a standard weight plate that isn't rubber coated I reckon you can get a little better than that but probably not too much. No Crust Racing
Standard 7ft bar as I already had all standard plates. Any tips on where I can get better? markos
Better plates or better price? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/200767-gym-and-supplement-discussion/page/407/#findComment-6960903 Share on other sites
No Crust Racing
Well either, but price is more the factor as they don't need to be anything special when used by me, at home, on carpet, and taken care of. I'm also not going to cry if they are slightly over under 20kg. markos
That's a good increase in both bodyweight and lifts for Alex. Did Stelian go from 89kg to 103kg since June?? Is PTC method different to PPP? Stelian weighed in at 89kg, with the help of a 24hr weigh in, was closer to 94kg on the day, and yes, since June 14 PTC Method is much more advanced than PPP, its the last step, its individualised. Max has everyones workout for the day in his iPad Beginners 5x5 PPP PTC Method Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/200767-gym-and-supplement-discussion/page/407/#findComment-6960911 Share on other sites
Trozzle
I believe "value for money" is the term you're looking for Dan Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/200767-gym-and-supplement-discussion/page/407/#findComment-6960912 Share on other sites
No Crust Racing
I was trying to avoid it because it's so subjective. Markos value for money will be some form of high end olympic setup and I should throw out everything I have now because I will never get anywhere with it, and while I'm at it, move to Frankston, join PTC and eat properly while squat and DL more lol Yes I am being sarcastic 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/200767-gym-and-supplement-discussion/page/407/#findComment-6960914 Share on other sites

I'm also not going to cry if they are slightly over under 20kg. When I opened PTC, I gave away 7 standard bars and well over 1000kg of standard plates as I converted everything to 2" hole. I had been collecting since 1992. Sorry. markos
When I go home I'll check, but I may have 2 x 50lb (22.6kg) plates you can have for free, I was using them as balast for the kids basketball ring Pick up only Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/200767-gym-and-supplement-discussion/page/407/#findComment-6960939 Share on other sites
No Crust Racing
Much obliged, I'd have to get them freighted and would cover and organise that, you'd need to box/wrap at the most. Birds
Or you can drive down, get a session at PTC, and pick up the plates at the same time Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/200767-gym-and-supplement-discussion/page/407/#findComment-6961029 Share on other sites
