lol no thanks, for the sake of a few extra % points of BF, I'll keep eating what I like. I'm not about gain to much from dropping a bit of extra fat, maybe some satisfaction?

Which I get more than enough of by eating what I like :)

I'm sure it could be argued that there are healthier ways to lose fat than fasting, but I'm not qualified, or care enough, to get into that side of things.

I'll just sit and wait unitl next time, which will probably be within a week, of your change in mind about how you look or your diet.

Maybe you should try it, 'the silly fad', don't really, you might accidently get rid of that fat you dont like.

Fasting actually provides a buttload of health benefits (not just reduction of bodyfat), with next to no downsides. Not pointing at YOU at all here Dan, but I'm actually getting quite sick of the overwhelming ignorance on this subject. The next person to insist that fasting is bad for your health is gonna get a slappin'

The way I see it, I enjoy eating way too much - not specifically the taste of what I'm eating, but more so the volume. There lies my reason for fasting so often - if it allows me to binge out every now and then without being in a huge caloric surplus, then that's all that matters coz it'll keep me happeh

No idea in grams, most of our meals include either staple veggies, corn, carrots, broccoli etc and then other meals have side salads, so lettuce, carrot, red/green capcisum, cucumber etc.

I also have a few bits of fruit of each day.

Even something like a bolognaise will have grated zucchini and carrot in it. Home made pizzas on pitas will have grated zucchini, red/green caps, mushrooms, pineapple etc.

We try and include then in the majority of meals.

If you count shitty frozen veg mixes, then HEAPS. I generally like to pour as much of the shit into the frying pan as there is meat.

FRESH vegetables are pretty rare, unless you count mushrooms and shitty leafy salad crap.

No reason NOT to increase veg intake (unless you're already eating buttloads including carb-dense stuff like potato). The way I see it, just about any veg I consume has negligible caloric value anyway, so I bolster my meals with plenty of them - given that as I said earlier, my issue with food is the VOLUME my appetite tries to have me eat, not so much the taste (hence I can't eat small meals :( )...more veg = more filling, without shiteloads of calories.

Oh and veg is usually full of everything we need outside of the 3 macro nutrients :D

    • Just to be clear, there were no lights or codes when the hiccups were occurring. Also nothing noticeable in the cars' braking. It brakes fine and the dash is clear. I only made the connection when it did throw a code and suddenly, despite the lights, it felt great again.
    • Yeah they are sliders and this was in my head before I worked out it was the speed sensor.
    • Ok so we have a smoking gun.  A few weeks ago I had to replace a speed sensor that I'd fit incorrectly. I replaced the sensor and everything was fine with no lights or codes thrown any longer.  When I was doing some more bedding in yesterday I got ABS and traction control lights again and, considering when this happens those things are disabled, the pedal went back to normal with smooth braking and no hiccups.  The codes thrown are for the same speed sensor that I replaced. When I looked at the sensor I took out it looks like the tip of the sensor is damaged. So whatever happened to it, perhaps it has damaged the magnetic ring on the bearing (that I only replaced the other week). I'll get my boroscope in the hole where the sensor goes and see if there is any damage in there. Hopefully just the tip of the sensor is in there and the bearing is fine. 🤞🏻  It's worth noting also that the pedal hiccup happens more often and for longer periods now and totally goes away when the codes are thrown again which happens usually after 5 or so minutes of driving. Love all your help here as usual guys, thanks!
