What do you mean if you were skinny?

In high school you'd have been a rake lol

Now you're a fatter rake?

Lunch time! DING DING DING

EDIT: Oh I agree also, people taking offense to mums is stupid, Kate is kg or two heavier now than she was pre-pregnancy - boobs - and people are on at her about what diet she used

None. I kept eating healthy and I walk every day (until she can get back to running)

It's not rocket surgery people.

I'd agree with that, Girls/Guys different views that is.

I've already got a missus, so I'd honestly say I care more about how other guys perceive me. In that, I'd rather look a bit bigger and more intimidating so people might be less likely to try shit.

You've got a bit more height which makes up for that though, us short guys have to rely on width instead :D

6ft is hardly short lol. But yeah agreed. There is ego to be had from impressing guys; it need not be sexual. However...if you can impress girls, that can be another way to impress guys...or make them hater jealous dream boats!

Anyway, the important thing here is...we deadlift.

lol in year 10 all I did was bicep curls, so I had a mean set of bis exacerbated by a lack of muscle everywhere else. And I quote "you look like you've sewn tennis balls into your arms".

Its definitely personal preference in terms of what size is desirable, but im 6'1 and 90kg with about 12-15% bf I would say, Im not happy with my size yet.

I have been lifting for 2 yrs (the first 6 months were pretty much wasted by not knowing what I was doing) when I started I was like 75kg. If I think back to what I looked like a 80kg I definitely wouldnt be content with that. You still look super skinny at that weight and height.

If I was to cut id probably only be like 85kg or a little less, but my abs are still somewhat visible as I am now and I see no point in cutting when im still trying to get bigger and bit stronger.

Im not really a selfie person sorry birds...

Hahaha if you've got it, flaunt it figgy :P

You look good Birds. What do you squat now and what did you start at?

Cheers dude. My volume sets are around 80-90kg ATG. 1RM after that is usually 110. Also do 5-7 second pause squats after that; between 80-90kg. When I first started ATG squatting, I was pretty tired after a set of 40kg x 10! So much harder than parallel.

In all honesty I'd like my squat 1RM to be higher...just to match my bench and deads...but I'm pretty happy as long as the legs are growing, and they are. Also have a couple of leg niglets that I'd like to sort out with a break from gym and then start proper 1RM training for the squat.

    • I don't know, I've never done it that way, but 1. While it is an interference engine, there is still clearance between the valves and the piston at all points in the regular timing cycle 2. There is not a lot of distance before you can't catch the top of the valve stem any more I don't know if 2 is greater or less than 1. But 3. If it doesn't work out you are f**ked, engine is coming out to disassemble so it is a big bet.
    • Semi slicks are horrible for road use, just use a high performance road tyre unless you really need the maximum grip. Noisy, unpredictable (amazing, until they are not), expensive due to very high wear and not good in cold and particular wet. And yes, it is a thing to store cars on stands instead of tyres if you know they are going to be parked up long term.....but who ever realises that a short park is going to stretch into years before it is out again!
    • I know in Australia you'll definitely get above 30c. Parked in the shade in Summer you'll be above that. 😛 But in cooler climates, you might get that warm driving on the highway for a bit, but you'd never get to full heat temp. I'll try and find some of my historical tyre temps between Aus summer and winter (be aware immin the warmer area of Aus too.)
