Birds
I carry with me a small tupperware container full of crushed up chalk...it gets the job done and is easy to care around. Just leave in my car. bozodos
I've started making liquid chalk from isopropanol + chalk to get around the chalk ban at my gym - works well, apart from the chalk powder clumping in the bottle. Ants
That's ol school thick bar btw You can get lighter thick bars I could barely use a 3" bar cuz I'm not tall and found that a 2" thick bar was best fit and weigh a lot less than that ol dinosaur bar (under 25kg) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/200767-gym-and-supplement-discussion/page/540/#findComment-7314144 Share on other sites
L33SH
Yeah fair enough. I like having a 20kg bar because It's easy for me to do my sets with 20kg and 10kg plates. I have 20's on each side for warmup, I then add 10's on, then I have 2 20's, then 2 20's and a 10 either side for my max weight. Then take the 10's off and do 100kg for volume. Ants
haha yeah, dungeon rules.. I love the gym to bits lol I used to call my old gym the dungeon (wasnt called that but that is what I refered it to as being) Plain and simple - no spa, no yoga / pilates mambo jumbo, no sauna, weights were very old but useful with dumbels up to 50kg (not that I ever lifted that - but 40kg I did lol) cardio equipment - basic stuff treadmil, stepper (one of favs), cross trainer (also a good one) and bike and rowing machines) Was a great gym - and now I just realise how much I miss it Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/200767-gym-and-supplement-discussion/page/540/#findComment-7314162 Share on other sites

Birds
Grip used to be my problem for deadlifts, giving out before my back did, but with mixed grip and chalk it's my back that gives out first.
