hey skyline kid the standard fuel pump will be ok for a lift pump as for the surg tank 2L would be around the mark, I would go with a 044 as a main pump and 3/8 fuel line. As for the fuel rail depending on what type of injectors, you could go top feed rail either greddy or sard and 700cc+ injectors or aftermarket side feed and same injector options..

i just dont get the bit where i run 3/8 fuel line and if i leave the standard fuel rail its got a 5/16 entry so wat is the point of have 3/8 lines to just have the volume of fuel there to use.... and i wouldnt mind running standard rail with sard 850's reckon that would do

bigger injectors certainly, ive seen over 1000hp at the crank with 5/16 fuel lines. T04Z's, are you planning on a garrett, or HKS, and once again, 500-550what, hp at the crank, KW at the wheels etc...?

550hp atw.... garret t04z... hks a lil to pricey i think

just think about it when using a 700 hp pump flowing over 280l/h through 5/16 how long do you think its gonna last? make ya fuel system flow as much power possible its the main ingredient of making a car go fast the last thing you wanna do is restict it..

therefore john wat is ur suggestion i have a 3lt surge tank ordered with 3/8 outlet to hold a bosch 044 pump and i was goin to go 3/8 steel to the front and then 3/8 hose to rail but im unsure if standard rail will do the job when i decrease hose size down to 5/16... i just need guidance in the rail and injector department and where to get.... i like side feeds cuz the sit low in the manifold and arnt so obvious makes it a lil bit neater... btw i have a greddy plenum so ne suggestion on 3/8 rail injectors yeh lol help me

yeh but wat about surge tank bigger lines aftermarket rails bigger injectors and so forth...... i dont think just a pump will do it

Not many people run

Bigger rails

Fuel lines

etc etc. The stock gear is fine as posted earlier.

Hell i was still using the stock EVERYTHING right down to the fuel reg and made 369rwkw.

Plenty more have archived a lot more than i did with the same gear also

standard fuel rail would be fine with some modifications as above yes you can use standard stuff but the question is how long and efficiant will the system last...It all comes down to how much power you wanna make and if you wanna make it reliable...old saying "speed cost money how fast do you wanna spend" or something along those lines. Sard 720cc will be good for 300rwkw + with head room don't go under 700cc!

I am running 2 X 044 pumps from my (est. 4L) surge tank each with their own 3/8 fuel line to a custom twin feed rail and 1000cc injectors. My RB25 made 399rwkw @ 17psi using twin T3/T4 turbos.

I went big first time so i dont have to worry about upgrading the fuel system in the future.

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
