The -7 / +7 Gauge R33 Not Going Above Zero

Hi,

Im wondering if anyone can tell me whether the standard boost gauge is meant to go above zero?

The car seems to have lost some acceleration and I didnt ever look at the boost gauge to see what was normal. In each gear it gets to zero and doesnt go any higher.

If this is not normal if anyone knows a possible cause(s) of this problem please let me know!

If it is a problem is it still safe to drive the car until I can get it booked into a mechanic?

Check your hoses for splits, you could have a leak.

No there is no after market gauge installed.

either that or your turbo has shat itself.

If you have standard set up it should first go to about 2mmHg and then after 5000rpm should be up to about 4mmHg at full boost.
