I'd thought i'll share this with everyone

I recently came back from Japan on a 2 week holiday. On the 2nd last day, i was in Tokyo, i was walking along a main street and what do i happen to walk pass?

A Nissan Ginza gallery showroom!!!

I could tell you, im convinced after actually seeing the GT-R in real life. Not only that, i got to sit inside and play around. Apparently they were offering test drives. Dammit, if it weren't my last night there...

There was another car inside the showroom quite worth looking at, but i wasn't interested in that. I'm sure everyone will agree with me if you were in my position

Anyways, i post up some pictures

Ginza are not. Other smaller suburban dealerships that have them are offering test drives.

what phone were those photos taken on?

oh and while we are on the subject of the R35, im meeting up with Koichi tonight at 8. Weve had 15 to 20 cms of snow here in central tokyo over the past couple of days so that should make things interesting...snow in tokyo is bloody awesome.

I hope you took some pics of the red one.Its the best looking IMO

(hints avatar) :(

And if only saw the 35 at the Ginza showroom you are not looking hard enough.

The Ginza showroom doesnt have the silver R35 or the red Zed there anymore. It got replaced with some other weird spotted car.

Here you go:

Sorry she doesnt come with it.

Seen the R35 too many times now...can't wait for some creative aero kits and massive forged wheels to give some more variety than the small amount that's been done in Japan.

To be specific, i'm sick of R35 PHOTOS, if i had one i'd keep it stock and look in awe every day :(

    • Steam valve seals are usually responsible for cold start smoke, it goes away once engine warmed up. Disconnect it let engine breathers and let it breath freely, see if problem goes away after a short drive. Also check to make sure engine oil drain pipe is not blocked or kinked.
    • Haha thanks! Yea I'm moving over from 2x 1000cc jets pre throttle over to 6x 190cc direct port jets and 1x 500cc pre throttle jet.  Direct port comes with all the advantages you would expect, except that pre throttle does cool down IAT'S more. That's why my direct port nozzle placement is closest to the plenum as possible in the runners to allow the air more time to cool before being sucked in. I'm also putting that one 500cc pre throttle jet to help with more cooling. It's a hybrid system. There's a lot more advantages to moving over to a PWM solenoid with a constant pressure system vs my old PWM pump setup, but I'll get more into that once I'm done converting everything over. The ricer in me is excited to see SS tubing all over my manifold though!
    • Very cool, see what I did there? 🥲 Wild WMI setup, first I've seen where it's on each cylinder runner, usually I see a single jet pre throttle.
    • Welcome mate. What type of work were you looking at getting done? Majorly of decent skyline workshops are in the SE.
    • Thanks mate, haha that's it ey, no more boosters and what not, should make for a good time
