yeah it has been done a fair bit up here, so it must be possible.....they look abit big and roller skate-ish unless you have it tucking some serious rim!

I'd like to see 22s on an RX7, got any pics(?), I reckon that would look rediculous, they are too squat and sleek for something that big....20s are even a bit over the top!!!

i asked 4 comments bout if they will farking fit not wank factors and shyt. keep ur farking shyt 2 urself u dumb farks. u tite asses cant afford 20s and 22s so stick to ur 18s then. to every1 else thanks 4 the comments.close this thread if ppl wanna be heroes pm me plz

settle dude, it's public forum, people are at liberty to give opinions, no need to try get all high and mighty, I was saying that it is possible, not ragging on you.

can't afford 22s, yeah, sorry been there, done that, but yeah I'll stick to my smaller wheels, they'd out price your 22s anyway!!!!

ppl that say no way it wont fit, i wonder if theyve actually tried, we put 22s on the back of my mates r33 and s15 in about 15 mins, the rear guards were just lipped thats it ( which was done ages ago anyway)

agreed put 22s on the front too that would look tough.

yeah wateva got 20's on mine and got 24's on my hilux so yeah.... you sound like the guy who wants to be the hero

I was told 20's wouldnt fit my MR2 but i showed them. Had to buy coilovers and do other things but i got them on there with no scrubs from anywhere.

Go 22's man. Some wise man once said "get the rims you like and build your car around them", right Anthony(2 GUP)?

oh so true

Go for it mate. Don't worry what others say, at the end of the day its your car and you do it up to your own tastes.

As for the 22's they will fit up not a problem as long as the offset is right and you stretch on some slightly undersized tyres on.

And also it would be wise to get coilovers as they have smaller dimension than stock, and are stiffer so the car doesn't bounce and scrub.

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
