Deka Battery

hey just wanted to know what is the best battery around for a r33 gtst

i was given a deka ETX15L and told its the best in the world and gues what after 2 days of leaving the car quite...

its flat.....

altenator is fine and with the system im running i was told it is the best for it..

any help would be appreciated

also its CCA is only 190

I went down this path 4 weeks ago, did myself a favour and purchased an Odyssey PC680. Fits in the R33 boot nicely and works with the factory R33 terminals which is a nice change. Only downside is the cost, I paid $380 for it but according to Odyssey it should last around 10 years...

Deka make good batteries, however 190CCA's is appalling. Look into the Deka intimidator(exact same specs as an Optima d34M yellowtop) which has a hefty 750CCA and 120Ah which should be plenty for most systems.

I run mine(albeit it's a hyundai excel at the moment) with a hefty(150A+) stereo system going full bore for a good hour and a half and it still cranked with no trouble whatsoever....

edit; Oh btw, the deka intimidator can be had for as low as $250.
