All great posts people, Love it!

I grew up in Armadale, I've lost count how many times i've been mobbed by aboriginals for simply walking home from school. After the 2nd/3rd time, you learn to stand up for yourself pretty well and fight back.

i have honestly not been touched since i was 16

im sorry to hear this man

to all the do gooders here saying "your just as bad as them"

i am so sick of people telling people how they should be culturally sensitive

they try to f**k you up? f**k THEM UP

they dont show love THERES NO LOVE FOR THEM

super soak them

seriously

i get so mad

i was in my staff room the other day

n there's this burmese woman looking out the window at this corroborree (10 drinking petrol in the park)

"it's so amazing... that's australian culture right there, they're probably sitting fown talk about the dreamtime, they're elders, and they're just a family being in touch with one another i think it's so great

i was like are you fkn serious?!

she's like yeah i think it's so cute

im like

...they are drinking petrol...

Dam right! I bet those who say stuff like that, haven't being bashed by them before (or not seriously enough). If they were bashed and got permanent injuries and have to spend the rest of their lives in hosptial.

Lets see them saying the same thing after that...

If they can still say the same thing (& mean it) then :D , you must be Jesus reborn.

Know what your saying aye... Grew up with coons out bush... I have to say though, their country cousins are a bit tougher... Less bark and more bite.. Still, as you said, you learn not to take shit very quickly.. It is a shame it has to be that way, but there really isn't any other feasable alternative... Cops may be 20 mins away in the city, but out bush, dun expect help any time soon when your some 150km from the nearest cop shop...

honestly what do any one of them contribute to not only our country but the world.

Nothing!

And i love this saying an old bloke once told me.....If your not here with the solution,Your part of the problem.

Yes I would run at them, guaranteed unless they were off their heads they'd have seen me coming and ran like all hell. I'm no kid, not even close...no teen or young fella in their right mind would go a man who looks like he could pop their head like a grape. Yes I'm a genetic freak like all the males in my family.

If he ran in the first place he should have called the cops as I said previously...the more complaints the more likely the police will increase their presence........

Unfortunately, not all of us are genetic freaks that can crush peoples heads like grapes, and if you knew anything at all about the area's being discussed here I am pretty sure you wouldn't have said that.

As for calling the cops? HA! what an absolute joke! I was living in Midland a while back, and 2 of our natives walked into a community daycare centre up the road and helped themselves to all the personal belongings of the VOLUNTEER child care workers. They were followed down the street and into a house about a block away (on the same street mind you.....) and the police were called (around 3pm) when all witnesses were threatened with violence after asking for all the handbags, mobile phones and car keys to be returned. And when did the cops actually show? 10pm the following morning.......and this is in an area that has more police attention than the whole rest of the city of Midland combined, so the amount of calls they get mean jack to their response time.

Much better to let them get on with f**king up our suburbs hey?

haha thats gold

what pisses me off about is all the compo they are up for now that kevin rudd has said sorry and guess who have to pay it? thats right all the hard working buggers who actually run the country and keep up the economy, what do they do? cause trouble for everyone im sure all the paint shops and bottle shops are going togetting a lot of business though

Go Dale! Go Dale!

<ricki lake stirring dance thing>

Srsly man, that certain part of Midland (Midvale?) was a horrible experience. I still get the shakes thinking about the fact that I subjected my family to that environment for 12 months. Sooo glad I was only renting at the time and managed to GTFO as soon as my first lease ran out.

I used to work in Midvale when I was 16 dude, had to catch public transport n stuff.. fk that was sketchy.

Edit: BAH went on a rant then accidentally hit the windows key and lost it all.. damn rage! :teehee:

Abridged version: More natives here than over east, hence more problems. Got rolled a few times as a young teenager, until you experience their behaviour firsthand, you cannot even begin to appreciate it. One of the other drafties at work just did jury duty on a case where a native mother and her three daughters set upon a foreignor who was leaving work in freo late at night. Not all natives are bad, worked with a few that were top blokes. Personal experiences indicate those top blokes were in the minority though.

    • Yeah, nah. I had the actuator rod off it today. The arm will not move at all. Neither out, nor in. Yeah, you'd think so, but I've been thinking about that. Even when the actuator rod fell all the way off at the beginning of this saga, it would build more boost and faster in lower gears than it would in higher gears, and you'd think that that was the opposite of what should happen. But I strongly suspect that there is a thing with the gearing getting the revs to rise faster, that there must be some transient effect with the gas flow rate rising quickly, that you don't get with the more steady state case of the higher gears. Keep in mind - the gate is not shut in either of my weirdnesses. So things are not "normal". We normally think about a turbo spooling up (below the wastegate target) with the gate shut. I have all sorts of mental models running now where the gate is a little bit open, and having it stuck open allowing gas out while it should be going through the turbine has all sorts of weird effects (in these mental models). I'm thinking in the higher gears, the ex mani pressure builds to the point where enough gases spill out the wastegate to just prevent the pressure rising much more at all, or just creeping up, all the whole the revs are increasing and getting closer to the point where a gear shift becomes necessary.
    • Is it possibly wastegate actuator itself is sticking, or even the rod to flapper? Otherwise I reckon things are getting a bit rusty/worn   Also odd it won't boost in 3rd to 5th, but will in 1st, I'd expect the other way around with it slightly open as there's more time on your way to redline for it to spin up
    • Does anyone know ow what these two plugs are for and if they should be unplugged? Just put the dash back together and can't remember if these were plugged in before or unplugged! (Blue and white plugs) 🤦🏽‍♂️
    • Did some FASTing ...got the impression that the actual part# was a moot point ; seems all of these hardlines for coolant are discontinued/NLA... like, I take it you're after the hardline that bolts onto to the manifold...that's NLA according to amayama & nengun .... ...just to clear up some confusion, they typically mounted the AAC valve to the intake manifold somewhere near a coolant passage, so the body of the valve heats up & holds it open when engine's up to temp - no coolant flows through the valve, it's a mechanical, thermal connection.
    • And now the bloody flapper is jammed slightly open. Lazy as all f**k in 3rd-5th (very hard to convince it to make much boost before you run out of revs), but will make 12 psi in 1st, which shouldb't be possible with a 5 psi spring and controller set to <10 psi. Methinks I'm lucky it jammed where it did, rather than fully closed. It's actually a well weird situation. Careful examination of what's happening in the back of that housing when the gearbox comes out and all the other stuff (injectors, AFM retune) is supposed to be done, next week.
