well most squeal can be cured with:

installing the factory anti squeal shims

using copper grease, or the special anti squeal paste

champhering the edges of the pads if not done from factory

re-bedding them in

but, I have a set of pads. Endless CC-R, and they squeal no matter what. Hot, Cold, New, Old with shims, without shims they are just a noisy pad. you shouldn't have that problem with ultimates though.

im having the same problem with mine only at real low speeds "just befor stoping" where can i get the factory anti squeal shims?? i remmeber the guy who was instaling my pads took them off and threw them away cuz the breaks were bighting while they were on...

iv tried everything appart from changing the brake pads which is what im going to do but i think will still not solve my problem.. so it could be that small peace of mettal "shims" that shoulda been there..

i have the same problem aswell same pads aswell still working on the problem sum people might not like this but i couldnt stand the "squeel" anymore so i took them out rubbed them on some smooth cement and they stopped for about a month now they only do it every now and then and only a bit aswell might save your ears for a bit only a quick fix but

    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
