Rb25det (neo) Rocker Cover Gasket

Hi all,

As the title goes... do I need to use a rocker cover gasket on an RB25DET (neo)? ie. is the standard gasket rubber or cork where it has a significant thickness, or can I just silicone it?

Also if I need to use one does anyone know where I can get one...?

Sorry this seems like an obvious question but I did a search for 'rb25 rocker gasket' and got nothing.

yes you do need one because if you don't have one you will have oil leaks and to get one just go to nissan

So does that mean silicone alone won't work? Or even if I re-use the gasket that's there (is it rubber?) I'm expecting a Nissan gasket to be expensive...
