Rwd And Awd Sump In Rb25

Hey guys..

Just considering which engine to put into my gts4. A neo engine has come up for sale however it is rwd.

I Have a spare awd sump however... Am i able to take the sump of a RWD engine and then replace it with an awd sump.. ??

Im pretty sure u cant but if anyone could help me out that would be great..

99% sure its different purely because on the rb25de in a gts4 the bottom of the block where the sump and diff bolts up, is wider to make it stronger to support the extra weight and power from the front diff.

You would have to get one of those kits from proengines i think it was, that makes the adaptor plate so you can bolt the front diff up, but its around the 900 mark so it might out way the good price of the neo engine.

A stagea neo engine is the way to go for you, already has the front diff and sump and you just drop it in

yeah not worth trying to put an awd sump on a rwd motor - you will need the plate which will remove any cost saving over getting a 4wd one. (unless you are going rb30 of course)

and like stephen said the stagea neo motors are awd and will be nice and cheap.
