What "few" other goodies??

A GT35 is too big for a 2.2ltrs far as i see it, far too big... GT35 is 350rwkw style, 30+ psi easily... on a 2.2 with a head that flows like a 2" exhaust :)

So you'll run into all sorts of drama's there.

Even a 3037 is too be, get a 2835 or similar IMO. With decent tyres and a good driver 11's shouldnt be a problem

ive had a look at the 2835 but its not rated at that much more ps than the turbo in there at the moment.. generaly im aiming for 400rwhp and if it breaks 11's it would b nice. few other goodies meaning just off the top of my head forgies, cams, powerfc, fuel pump, injectors, head gasket.. i dont mind abit of lag but i dont want sumthing hitting full boost at 6k anything around 4 - 4.5 is fine by me

How much power are you getting from the AX53B70 again? Was around 220rwkw yeah? If so that sounds alittle low especially with mods you have like cams and headwork and a 2.2L...i think guys have pushed numbers close to the mid 200s...i could be wrong though...but if thats true...then that sounds like there are definitlely issues or restrictions in your system that should be sorted out...

I had a look at your dyno graph and you're making less power with the same response as my 2535...the AX53B70 is rated higher than the 2535...plus you have headwork and a 2.2L...it probably shows that theres a fair bit more to be had from your setup...

If you do want to upgrade though...i think a 2835 or maybe a td06 with 8cm housing would be the go for around 250+ rwkw...i'm starting a hybrid rb22 build too and might consider a turbo upgrade too at the same time as my 2535 might be getting alittle tired...and if so i'll probably go with the 2835...

IMO a GT3071 with a .63 ex housing will see very close to 300rwkw, with the best response you can hope for.

I think your right mate.

This is the option I would be going for if I was chasing 300rwkw on an RB22. The 2.2l isn't going to have that much exhaust flow that it will cause a restriction and limit power with a 0.63 a/r rear housing, and this should still be pretty responsive.

limpus the tune was done in perth by a fairly known tuner and they said that there pulled as much out of it as they could, the other other way im going to make more power is to get a bigger turbo.. i mite go 2 another tuner and see wot they have to say because im pretty certain that it can get 320 - 330rwhp... ad4m ive spoken to u abit on antilag, that GT3076R murrayis is talking about u rkn that would suit my engine? murrayis what housing is the turbo?

GT3076R would be fine man!

not to long ago a dude in perth had his tuned running that turb on a std rb20 with hks cams, plazmaman plenum,6boost mani, turbo smart 48mm gate and all the usual supporting mods and went 358rwhp@20psi... and the way it made the power was so linear and smooth, if i didnt already have the 3040 it definatly would have been my pick!

i cant remember for the life of me what rear housing it was but if you need to know more shoot r32rookie on antilag a pm.

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
