Yeah,

So i got my stag into the country, love it,and after a good wash and some turps and pepsol it was looking like new.

But to my amazement the 7" screen i saw in the pics was missing, and all that was left was a wiring loom and some velcro.

However after further looking on the car, i noticed there was a tv antenna, dvd player, usb extention , GPS processor, 6 stacker dvd/CD player and another wiring loom STILL in my car.

Checked under my seat to find the processor for the AVIC-D710 pioneer (Audio Visual Information -something or rather).

I mean, i know i got my own Aus version of this, but what the f**k is some prick warfy/auctioneer going to do with a 7" screen without the other 2,000 yens worth of gear still sitting in my f**king car..

makes me think that they have no idea and just see something shiny and easy to rip off and try to get a buck from it.

So even if i wanted to , i cant use the damn thing.

wankers..

apart from that yeah.. love my new car

Exactly the same thing happened to me, I dont get it. I think its just carelessness from the compliancers who have to remove them during the process, but either way its disgraceful. And there is nothing that can be done about it.

same thing. lost a pivot speed meter but still has all the wiring in the car, and an HKS turbo timer. Happens ALLLLLLLLL the time.... nothing to be done about it. only way around it is to pay your broker to have him get it pulled out and arranged to be sent via post, separate to your car. bit of money, but hey if it lets you keep the gear.... ive consoled myself by saying if i get an HKS timer and pivot speed meter, at least i wont have to wire the bastards up haha....

Same deal here, Turbo timer went walkies and they left the harness behind.

+1, Apexi pencil went, carefully unplugged - no damage, left black box & wiring so after replacing like for like I now have spare black box for future failure. Also some person took stereo head unit but all wiring, speakers etc in place still so I just got preferred head unit fitted by approved installers during compliance. Most likely woulda replaced (head unit) it anyway. Best thing you can hope for is no serious damage to panels, interior & like posted earlier if there is good stuff in car at auction get it removed & shipped by alternate means.

Cheers GW :)

    • neither stumble or cut really seem to be an appropriate term....hard to explain its like a rev limiter but at 4k, but it violently shakes engine and entire vehicle as the rpms will not rise over 4k, even with slow acceleration. as soon as it hits 4k, it sounds like entire spark is lost entirely. plugs were 1.1 which I used as such, but later put in new plugs gapped down to .8 changed back after issue arose when I replaced the coils, still does it with either plug gap...damn and it was all running so good.
    • Oh how times have changed! I actually lean it out relative to my water/methanol injector duty cycle. The methanol adds a lot of fueling and you can then lean it out even more due to reduced knock.
    • Yeah my thoughts are the same, a well thought out WMI setup, would be slightly ahead of just straight E85 and you're also chemically intercooling the charged air, dropping it even further. This is why you need to add so much more fuel as soon as you spray. I remember someone taking me through their set up before (Dennis, has a R33, lives around Cabramatta - no idea if he's still around on this forum). He would target AFR 10:1 on 98, then as WMI ramped on, AFR would lean back up to 11:1. Amazingly, he did this all through his PowerFC, a relay to cut power to his EBC solenoid if there was not enough line pressure on his WMI kit. And of course, if there wasn't any boost made above gate pressure, you wouldn't be accessing the load cells with heaps of timing for WMI. One downside to that rudimentary setup, once the WMI came on, the EBC would unleash the dragon, and of course all the timing. Tyres would fry lol.
    • Shimmed or shimless, still solid, no hydraulic pump up stuff.
    • They have said food will be limited. Mainly meat pies and sausage rolls from memory. But they have a coffee van!
