hey guys ive got a 32gtr and its been playing up recently and im not sure if its just one problem or more..

the car stalls often at idle or when i clutch in, and when driving it will lose power at around 2500rpm.. if i change gears and continue to drive then its fine until i stop.. when i stop, i constantly blip the throttle to keep it alive.

now i think its an intercooler hose leak, ive patched up one already but it still does this..

recently i got my boost controller removed, and now the car sounds like a wrx.. ive already checked my coil packs(replaced them, thanks to bnr#, Serg) and spark plugs and seem to be in working order..

my muffler seems to be very hot aswell, i can feel lots of heat radiating from it after the engine is off, my hand is about 5cm away from the exhaust and it feels like i have my hand over a boiling pot of water.. i put my hand in front of the exhaust when it was running and my hands went black pretty quick. i understand this is because my car is running rich, is this causing my car to stall? also what is it that is making the car run rich?

any help would be great guys... car has been off the road for too long :D

if it's gone from sounding like a sexy inline-6 to sounding like a dogshit flat-4, you must have a serious ignition problem.

take it to a qualified auto sparky a.s.a.p

check your afm plugs... then if you have a power fc make sure the air flow meters are set on the correct type.... lol i mucked around with mine and selected the wrong ones and had the same issues yours is currantly having.

saound like a real issue :( sorry to hear mate and hope you diagnose it asap... but definatly sounds like something to do with the afm's

good luck
