Its better to upgrade your fuel pump!! A lot of people said skyline stock fuel pump does not provide enough fuel!!! many of my friends get the nismo upgrade fuel pump. Also if you're going to upgrade turbo or anything else, you don't have to worry about your fuel pump again!!

You may not NEED the extra fuel at the moment, but you will need it to get more power with a decent tune...

The nice thing about a new fuel pump is thats it new... It gives you peace of mind knowing that it has a better chance of not dying, therefore killing your pride and joy...

Fuel pumps can die, slow lingering deaths, slowing reducing the amount of petrol to your engine and therefore possibly damanging it at the same time...

I have a walbro 500hp in tank pump. Not hard to fit, I use the standard pick up point and it doesnt make lots of noise... It didnt cost the earth either, coming in at i think 160 delivered... There are definately better pumps though, like the NISMO and TOMEI pumps, but they are circa $450+ delivered (are a direct fit though, with no mucking round)

All depends on what you are after...mods are never ending...trust us...we all know that far too well...

First step...change the fuel pump...as mentioned...a 18 year old pump is as good as dead and i can almost guarantee that it will be leaning out under heavy load...

had that problem on my r32.

stock fuel pump was causing my car to run lean, replaced it with a GTR fuel pump and all good now

If the GTR pump is 18 years old then it might soon start suffering from the same problem...even though its rated to flow more...with the price of warlbro and bosch pumps nowadays its probably better to go that path...

yeah thats true, with the prices of bosch pumps today, better to get that instead of gtr pump. Once the gtr pump starts playing up, then ill upgrade :D
