Antimatter
Hi guys - just wondering if there are any little tricks that anyone knows of that can squeeze an extra few CC's out of the stock RB26 injectors? (other that an adjustable fuel reg of course). I reacon an extra 20 ~ 30 cc would be all I need to get me where I want to be with this particular project..... (with a safe margin for error). Thoughts? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/218359-hi-flowing-rb26-injectors/ Share on other sites

LTHLRB
you will need an injector flow machine and the right tools to do the injector and the internals of the injector Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/218359-hi-flowing-rb26-injectors/#findComment-3852407 Share on other sites

Antimatter
I am making a bit over 280kw on 4WD dyno. Running fairly even 12:1 afr's, injectors are just about max @ redline (allready using a nismo fuel reg and have a tomei pump). I know a set of 550cc will take me where I would like to be with room to spare. I just have some spare injectors.... wondering if there was any little "hot up" that will get maybe just a few extra kw and a little margin for error. Cheers What power are you after? doo doo
Mate I just bought 6x700cc Sard's through nengun for 598 bucks delivered. Injectors don't run their best at really high duty cycles- they get hot and slow down. Antimatter
wow - 598 is a pretty cheap... $100 per injector. gotta love nengun. Your right about the injectors being at there ugly end. The power and afr's are pretty consistant @ 280 though.. was just hopig to squeeze that lttle bit more or get a couple of % back.. ANyway... thanks.
