Its just that ive always thought Fezzas like the 275 seemed really Astonish if you ask me...

Forgive me Ferrari, Theres only one other car that touches my heart other than Skylines, and thats the F40.

I love my Ferrari's i never ever talk down about them, but as of recently they are bringing out let down after let down.

Personally i think out of the modern Ferari's the Enzo should have been designed similar to the F40/50 and named the obvious name of F60, cause i bet you Enzo himself is spewing in his grave. (although i think its a great car in its own respects, nothing wrong with it at all, but to call it an Enzo???!)

Secondly out of the modern Ferrari's the F430 and the 612 Scaglliette (Forgive me if i spelt it wrong) should be the only ones allowed to see daylight. This new California is a mockery of the old prestigious Ferrari's that once were...

To be put quite simply this contraption (and i use the term lightly in this case since its Ferrari) reminds me of a Porsche Boxter/BMW Z4 from the side pic. A Toyota MR2 (current shape) from the front. And something that Volswagon would think about producing if they decided to bring out a new Beetle from the rear.

Not a fan of soft tops either, i think they take away from the essence of the cars framework.

Although im sure the performance better matches what you pay for. But at the end of the day i think Ferrari is going backwards with all their endeavours, I'd much rather a 35 GTR anyday over any of the current Ferrari's, i'd only take one for the Badge and saying i own a Ferrari, then again, Hand me a F40 or 50 and ill drop my house and everything i have to own that!

Sorry to all those that are fans of the '350 California' and love this car, its just my 2 cents and i think i had to say that, because as a Ferrari die hard fan myself, (i have everything Ferrari cept the car itself lol), i think i had to get this off my chest because Ferrari have been disapointing me time and time again with their developments, hopefully they get back on their horse (no pun intended) and start to give back Ferrari a decent name especially for their loyal customers that will spend anything to get one. :) don't flame me for this! like i said above, love Ferrari....just skeptical about their future as a prestigious car company and where they are heading. On a lighter note i hope they take the constructors championship in F1! :)

    • Nope, needed to clearance under the bar a little with a heat gun, a 1/2" extension as the "clearancer", and big hammer, I was aware of this from the onset, they fit a 2.0 with this intake no problems, but, the 2.5 is around 15mm taller than a 2.0, so "clearancing" was required  It "just" touched when test fitting, now, I have about 10mm of clearance  You cannot see where it was done, and so far, there's no contact when giving it the beans Happy days
    • It's been a while since I've updated this thread. The last year (and some) has been very hectic. In the second-half of 2024 I took the R34 on a trip through Germany, Italy, France and Switzerland - it was f*cking great. I got a little annoyed with the attention the car was getting around Europe and really didn't drive it that much. I could barely work on the car since I was living in an inner-city apartment (with underground parking). During the trip, the car lost power steering in France - split hose - and I ended up driving around 4,000kms with no power steering.  There were a few Nurburgring trips here and there, but in total the R34 amassed just shy of 7,000kms on European roads. Long story short, I broke up with the reason I was transferred to Europe for and requested to be moved back to Japan. The E90, loved it. It was a sunk cost of around EUR 10,000 and I sold it to a friend for EUR 1,500 just to get rid of it quickly. Trust me, moving countries f*cking sucks and I could not be bothered to be as methodical as I was the first time around.
    • I assume clearances were all a-okay?
