well... it was WOW!

2nd gear is like driving on marble's. it just steps out so easily!

quite a bit of 3rd gear is also wheelspin

it certainly gets interesting very quickly with that much power!

yeah Mick @ formaz was happy lil rich in mid range and top end was good also.

its still got standard chip with speed cut though thats gotto go.

im happy, still lots can be done its just standard motor with boost so far.

Sean, Sounds like about the right power so far, be interested to see what times it can put down with a realtively stock RB26 setup:D

So how much did the whole conversion set you back? I have been thinking of getting a R32 and doing the same sort of thing but I'm not sure if I will have the $$

Sean would have done the engine install himself, so he'd have no labour costs. Unless your very handy it's an expensive proposition.

with the help of a big ***-off engine hoist too!

It's my goal to have all the tools I need to do this kinda stuff myself.... one day *sigh*

start adding it up

5-6k for engine

1-1500 for box

new tailshaft and all lil extras to get it happening

oil,fliters air & oil , coolant, new clutch adaptors for pods

pimp carbon fibre bonnet (optional)

SH*T it adds up quick. less the bits you can quit from your car.

PLUS PLUS labour if you cant do it yourself OUCH
