There's too many coming in these days... I'll know the next premium black one that comes in :thumbsup:

Wonder what these cars owe them landed and complied? you would definately want them considerably cheaper than the est 160k Aus delivered price given no wnty etc... Or are they paying full whack just to be one of the first to have one???

They can be had for... nah, i shouldnt say what is easily researchable.

Thats all i have to say apart from the fact im lining one up myself for the next private import.

No red tape that way.

Inside word is compliance on them will be between $15K and $20K once plates are finally through. Not cheap!

If youre telling the truth, its daylight robbery...

I go through all the shit of bringing the car in over the course of a year and someone thinks that because its the GTR, they can add 15k to their asking price despite the fact their job isnt any bloody different.

Makes my blood boil.

adam mate, you have absolutely no clue what you are talking about. before you want to get all high and mighty maybe do a bit of research into the subject.

for any workshop gaining compliance for the R35 it is a BIG investment. They have to buy a car for starters so there goes $110K. emissions testing were are talking in the tens of thousands again. preparing evidence of compliance for the rest of the car, big dollars again. add to that huge amounts of paperwork and time spent with engineers.

Even discounting the car cost, let's say they tip in $100K in time and effort. Now given long waiting lists and short supply in japan, and add to that nissan jp will not sell cars to people specifically for export, and anyone buying an auction car (even one with <300kms) is running a huge risk of it being declared "used" and thus inelligible and it is conceivable that they will only plate 5-10 cars. so the compliance cost needs to reflect that.

what are you talkign about? what shit are you going through to bring in R35s? and who is adding $15K to the asking price? I honestly am stumped!

      Sorry to hear your HFM BM57 was faulty,  did you contact HFM I would hope they would be at least grateful for the information if there was some sort of manufacturing fault, you would hope they would be sympathetic even if your item was 2 years old if it had never been fitted. May I ask where it leaked from ?

      Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it

      All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.

      That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
