My theory is that if you send the goods to major center, it gets checked more thouroughly - both parcels that have been looked at by customs entered via Brisbane CBD.  Another parcel went straight through when it went to a residential address.  Just theories...

I hope I dont get stuck with taxes, I'll be getting the VSPL kit in the next month or so.

i heard u had contacts with apexi and hks, i wanted to know how much u can get an apexi power fc, with hand controller and the boost controller kit for it to suit an r33gtst for, also if possible how much the new gt spec cat back would cost, gt spec front pipe and hi flow cat.

They're pretty lax in responding to general enquiries, and often you won't get a reply. But I guess they must receive 100 or so a day, so I'd imagine if they replied to every "enquiry" and not genuine sales, they'd never sell anything.. which is fair enough.

Have never actually purchased from them yet as i try to purchase local to help out the little guys but intend on buying in the future.

Have sent numerous emails and have always had quick replys and excellent prices.

I spose the best bet is to wait until they put it on special, or when the YEN dies

Guys be careful about talking about customs and avioding tax. It would be a good idea for those guys who mentioned it to edit their posts.

Hes a great guy and has got us alot of parts for cheap prices. I dont wanna see customs get onto him. Apparently customs get information from sites like these and i dont want to see that happen.

hey guys, i'm just wondering how do you guys pay for the parts???

use the PayPal system??? if yes, is it a secure system????

if not, how to deposite the money into the account with details of parts???

i never buy anything from internet...so have lots of question to ask

cheers

Yes Paypal is secure and encrypted. However Nengun charges an additional percentage for using Pyapal.

I think Nengun also have an Australian bank account to pay into to make things easier.

I've used paypal for many things on the net.. has always been safe for me.

hi predator, i'm just wondering...

if i sign up PayPal now, would i be able to change my personal details such as "adress" later??? coz i might move in 1 to 2 months time

I have dealt with them when i bought my s-afc II they were great. Prompt service and replyed to emails within reasonable time. I ordered it and got it 5 days later FROM JAPAN so in my opinion thats not to bad give em a try you shoudn't be disapointed, not to mention that theyre prices are just about the best!

I've bought parts from nengun a few times and now I won't buy from anyone else. I usually recieve the items in 5 days on average. In one case when i needed them asap he sent them express post for no extra charge and I received the parts from Japan in two days.

I ordered a RSM + Cam Gear last week which was sent by Nengun on Thursday and it arrived this morning (thats 2 business days or 4 days including the weekend). That puts Australia Post to shame, I used the online shopping cart and paid by Direct Debit.

Very very very happy and highly recommended.

    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
    • Nice car! I’m glad folks in the US have gotten past the FnF and are buying real cool cars like the 260RS I was with a bunch of mates in Portland about a year ago and spotted a green Stagea (just a regular 2.5T AWD) parked about 2 blocks away and they were like “a what?” So I made a bet with them for a round of beers and said “ok one of you run down there and tell me if the steering wheel is on the correct side” 5 mins later the American comes trudging back up the hill and goes “he’s right guys. Ok what beer do you want?”
    • Should replace OR drop the tank, give it's good clean. Might be worth replacing that entire fuel level/pump/cradle thing with this: https://frenchysperformancegarage.com/products/fpg-s13-180sx-r32gtst-single-pump-hanger-kit-billet-hat-6-v3-fpg-089?gQT=2
