If you use the button then it keeps it on record for the rest of us to see the complaint.

I know it is a pain but it does help with the up keep of the forums :)

I'm sorry you feel hard done by. As with all authority positions... you cant please everyone all the time. There is always going to be people who get upset :P

I was actually enjoying somebody getting worked up about something on here, like giving a shit about the way things are done, but this last line of yours just makes me shake my head... If there is an account of a serious post that has been edited (besides rule breaking posts like chatting in fs, posting porn, etc) let me know because that goes against everything we want in these forums.

Freedom of speech is my number 1 priority in almost everything I do. I, believe it or not, am a hippy at heart, member of Greenpeace, Sea Shepherd, Free Tibet, Amnesty and a lot of others. I am all for freedom of speech, dont for one second misinterperet that by having rules that protect me and my family from legal action are there for any other reason.

I am fairly sure that I am safe from legal action from businesses (step mother is a solicitor, dad is a barister, uncle is a solicitor, sister is a barister + shit loads of legal-minded family friends) but when it comes down to it, the internet and its legal grounds are still new and there are laws being changed every day to deal with them. Until I am absolutely positive about where I stand, the rules stay in place, because as much as I love you guys, I wont pick you when it comes to the crunch.

Its crazy to think that we (I say we because although I am ultimately responsible, this forum belongs to everbody) cant say whats on our minds, but unfortunately (and at least for now), thats the way it has to be.

Cool, then we need those mods to be reported so they can be pulled aside. I dont want anybody thinking that because they're a mod they'll be treated differently.

hmmm col?

Paul, we know you enjoy baiting people and then complaining when you are "singled out".

But, I apologise for not warning the person who posted about your business last night, I had a night away from the computer. Not sure why no-one else warned them when the post clearly breaks the rules. Anyway, done now, and in future if you have an issue use the report button as Dan said.

And, you have been warned for your trolling and personal attacks in that thread. As always details will be attached to your warning log. I've only included your attacks against one person in the warning and skipped gems like "are you stupid or illiterate?" in your attacks on about 4 other people including me.

Amazing how the shit talk followed you from the drag threads to the circuit threads. Must just be a co-incidence.

BTW in post 1125 of that thread you bet a case of v/bottle of jack that you would go quicker. Did you pay up?

You could only be sued for deformation..... if the person who denies the accusations can prove its untrue which the onus is on them to do so....."

The truth is not an ultimate defence. Just because so something is true doesn't mean it's not actionable. Slander and liable laws are not uniform in our great country.

found it... no warnings for me...... but im sure that can easily change.......

i like the people that call others stupid and illeterate... and many other things.... makes me wonder if there that rude and plain worthy of a public beating when you meet them face to face... i write exactly what i would say to someone face to face be it good or bad and not be a fake firewall personality protected ass. :D.i can come across as a bastard at times.... i prefer to know people as just 1 person... not split personality types.... i think thats some type of medical condition that lands you in a nut house.

wat ya bloody talking about warning goin up from 10% per warning to 20% ive got 2 warnings from a long time ago and both were 40% warnings so thats a bit of bullshit.

Well, when you sport a sig like yours, 80% seems a little low.... :D

Hey Christian, can you please investigate whats going on with Duncan and his attitude towards me. He has for years always felt it necessary to badger and taunt me. Im no angel either but come on...how many warnings has he copped from his attacks towards me? none id say. None of the posts he refers to break the rules as such and because i came in here and felt it necessary to voice my opinion on the clear double standard that he gives me compared to his mates, he slaps another warning on. He had been in the thread and felt it unnessary to dish out warnings, and even thought it necessary to get involved. But only after i come in here...another warning. Bloody hell...this isn't China!. His lack of respect for me his something ive learned to live with and ive made some attempts to smooth the relationship with him by helping him with advice from time to time. Duncan, next event why don't you actually come and have a chat next time you see me at an event instead of looking the other way anytime you come near me. I even parked our car next to yours at the show and shine to try and get to know you, but when i returned to our car you moved yours elsewhere.

Christian ive PM'd you in the past about this same issue, but had no reply or feedback...so ive posted it here.

Hey Paul, I can help. I only have 2 problems with you

1. You break forum rules

2. You repeat 1.

Time and time again over years. And you've been warned numerous times and banned as well.

Howdy,

Sorry for the lack of PM response, I hardly ever check them because I get so many, its so time consuming going through them all (unlike emails) so I am best caught like this or shoot me an email.

I'll have a chat to Duncan, I have known Duncan for a while now and haven't ever seen him being one-sided in any decisions. That being said, I am not immediately taking his side, I am just giving you a bit of a character reference. As for his warnings, the moderators and admin's dont have warning's on their accounts. This is because if a mod stuffs up badly enough to warrant a warning, odds are they are moving towards losing their moderation status anyway.

Christian

Far out, sounds like it’s time for a serious consideration on Christian’s behalf to look into doing a complete moderation team rotation.

New team, no bias, no grudges, no beef.

It honestly sounds like these issues will not get any better and even perhaps worsen, with the attitudes and views the current moderating members have towards the non moderating members.

I have no bad blood with Duncan and a lot of his posts have been helpful, but if what Paul is saying has and still is happening, Duncan is clearly not acting in accordance with the SAU guidelines point number one (1)

Treat all members with respect and courtesy

So, you act like a girl who’s in high school and completely ignore someone trying to smooth things over in the real world, for something that’s happened on the internet and move your car because you don’t want it parked next to his..

*Edit, better use of words.*

    • As discussed in the previous post, the bushes in the 110 needed replacing. I took this opportunity to replace the castor bushes, the front lower control arm, lower the car and get the alignment dialled in with new tyres. I took it down to Alignment Motorsports on the GC to get this work done and also get more out of the Shockworks as I felt like I wasn't getting the full use out of them.  To cut a very long story short, it ended up being the case the passenger side castor arm wouldn't accept the brand new bush as the sleeve had worn badly enough to the point you could push the new bush in by hand and completely through. Trying a pair of TRD bushes didn't fix the issue either (I had originally gone with Hardrace bushes). We needed to urgently source another castor arm, and thankfully this was sourced and the guys at the shop worked on my car until 7pm on a Saturday to get everything done. The car rides a lot nicer now with the suspension dialled in properly. Lowered the car a little as well to suit the lower profile front tyres, and just bring the car down generally. Eternally thankful for the guys down at the shop to get the car sorted, we both pulled big favours from our contacts to get it done on the Saturday.  Also plugged in the new Stedi foglights into the S15, and even from a quick test in the garage I'm keen to see how they look out on the road. I had some concerns about the length of the LED body and whether it'd fit in the foglight housing but it's fine.  I've got a small window coming up next month where I'll likely get a little paint work done on the 110 to remove the rear wing, add a boot wing and roof wing, get the side skirt fixed up and colour match the little panel on the tail lights so that I can install some badges that I've kept in storage. I'm also tempted to put in a new pair of headlights on the 110.  Until then, here's some more pictures from Easter this year.
    • I would put a fuel pressure gauge between the filter and the fuel rail, see if it's maintaining good fuel pressure at idle going up to the point when it stalls. Do you see any strange behavior in commanded fuel leading up to the point when it stalls? You might have to start going through the service manual and doing a long list of sensor tests if it's not the fuel system for whatever reason.
    • Hi,  Just joined the forum so I could share my "fix" of this problem. Might be of use to someone. Had the same hunting at idle issue on my V36 with VQ35HR engine after swapping the engine because the original one got overheated.  While changing the engine I made the mistake of cleaning the throttle bodies and tried all the tricks i could find to do a throttle relearn with no luck. Gave in and took it to a shop and they couldn't sort it. Then took it to my local Nissan dealership and they couldn't get it to idle properly. They said I'd need to replace the throttle bodies and the ecu probably costing more than the car is worth. So I had the idea of replacing the carbon I cleaned out with a thin layer of super glue and it's back to normal idle now. Bit rough but saved the car from the wreckers 🤣
    • After my last update, I went ahead with cleaning and restoring the entire fuel system. This included removing the tank and cleaning it with the Beyond Balistics solution, power washing it multiple times, drying it thoroughly, rinsing with IPA, drying again with heat gun and compressed air. Also, cleaning out the lines, fuel rail, and replacing the fuel pump with an OEM-style one. During the cleaning process, I replaced several hoses - including the breather hose on the fuel tank, which turned out to be the cause of the earlier fuel leak. This is what the old fuel filter looked like: Fuel tank before cleaning: Dirty Fuel Tank.mp4   Fuel tank after cleaning (some staining remains): Clean Fuel Tank.mp4 Both the OEM 270cc and new DeatschWerks 550cc injectors were cleaned professionally by a shop. Before reassembling everything, I tested the fuel flow by running the pump output into a container at the fuel filter location - flow looked good. I then fitted the new fuel filter and reassembled the rest of the system. Fuel Flow Test.mp4 Test 1 - 550cc injectors Ran the new fuel pump with its supplied diagonal strainer (different from OEM’s flat strainer) and my 550cc injectors using the same resized-injector map I had successfully used before. At first, it idled roughly and stalled when I applied throttle. Checked the spark plugs and found that they were fouled with carbon (likely from the earlier overly rich running when the injectors were clogged). After cleaning the plugs, the car started fine. However, it would only idle for 30–60 seconds before stalling, and while driving it would feel like a “fuel cut” after a few seconds - though it wouldn’t fully stall. Test 2 – Strainer swap Suspecting the diagonal strainer might not be reaching the tank bottom, I swapped it for the original flat strainer and filled the tank with ~45L of fuel. The issue persisted exactly the same. Test 3 – OEM injectors To eliminate tuning variables, I reinstalled the OEM 270cc injectors and reverted to the original map. Cleaned the spark plugs again just in-case. The stalling and “fuel cut” still remained.   At this stage, I suspect an intermittent power or connection fault at the fuel pump hanger, caused during the cleaning process. This has led me to look into getting Frenchy’s fuel hanger and replacing the unit entirely. TL;DR: Cleaned and restored the fuel system (tank, lines, rail, pump). Tested 550cc injectors with the same resized-injector map as before, but the car stalls at idle and experiences what feels like “fuel cut” after a few seconds of driving. Swapped back to OEM injectors with original map to rule out tuning, but the issue persists. Now suspecting an intermittent power or connection fault at the fuel pump hanger, possibly cause by the cleaning process.
