I didn't take these photos, or write the tute, just translated. Figure someone could use the info quickly. I was researching the cluster myself, and couldnt find any tutes.

Hope it helps

Also take note of the plugs in the back of the dash, 2 out of the 3 can be filipped 180 degrees, very poor design and is a pain in the arse when replacing it with a cluster that has the plugs in a different position.

hey guys,

need a bit of help with this. my indicators have been wired up the wrong way around (works fine on the outside of the car, but it's backwards in the instrument cluster).. is it difficult to just switch these around when the cluster is pulled out?

if it's too hard i don't want to rip it all out for nothing

I had to pull my cluster out the other day. For my car, an auto R33 GTST there are simply three plugs from the car that connect into the back of the cluster. I can't see any way of swapping the indicators around by just pulling out the cluster. It’s all fixed circuit tracks. Might be something at the plug/further down the wiring.

yeah, i had a look and came to the same conclusion. my car used to have a nismo dash in it, so they probably re wired some stuff manually. i'll have to whip out the multimeter and go through everything individually.

thanks

    • Out of curiosity, how do you cover up the inspection hole? Surely it doesn't sit open like that, right? With grime and dirt coming in and oil going out?
    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything
