1995 GTS-T Auto Skyline - how much should I expect to get?

Recommended Posts

Hey mephis,

I looked at 3 private cars on the weekend, all manual, and all under 94000km, the lowest at 65000km. A car being manual suddenly doesnt add $3000 to the price??? most handbags actually pay extra for auto as an option on most new cars.

The cars i looked at were all under $17000, ive got an offer going through atm for one with a minor front bumper push for $14000.

The sudden flood of cheaper imports in perth has rocked the 2nd hand car market, i could take a risk and import one through autoworxs (www.perthcars.com) for $15000 with mods, but for $23000+ private sale, do i get a warranty and any dealer extras?

My 4 cents......

Will a converted auto gts-t to manual actually sells more than an factory auto?

I think it would still worth less than a factory manual due to originality factor? Although if it retains the auto 1:4.3 diff, then the converted one could be more desirable for drag (slightly faster acceleration as opposed to manual's 1:4.1 diff)

Dont know but, i sold my R33 gtst manuel 74,000km's stock for $15,800! Im never getting a import again, their resale value is friggen shit!

Yep, the imports arent worth much when you go to sell them, that is why in real terms the price of $22000 is too high for a 1993 skyline turbo.

My dad and i have dealt with many imports before....but my mate dropped out of the business so i have to get a local one or trust risbey.....eeeeee

His dads last 2 imports, hes had a few nostagic ones, a 85 supra turbo, a nissan gloria (taxi)....the list goes on

we imported a 300zx na, auto, with 40000km, bought for $23000 sold $15000, this was 3 years ago we sold this, it was a 1990 model.

1988, na, auto silvia, bought it 7 years ago for $13000 with 60000km on the clock, sold it 4 years ago for $7000, when they were worth something.

    • I'll bite. I no longer own any euro's, but I thought I'd share two of my favorites I owned. My 500hp B5 S4 and my 800HP E55 AMG. Yes I did attempt to drive the E55 in Canadian winters, that lasted all of a month as it was a death trap.
    • To be fair this is the wife’s car. However, I have been accused of owning more cars than I have pairs of undies. Luckily I change my undies more frequently than the cars.
    • Cheers Lads Looking at changing up a few things maybe go 2.8lt, bigger injectors with more a modern Turbo. Possibly transbrake and convert to E85 with Haltech ECU. Any thoughts on those Mods changes or better ideas? Want to try keep the car Street/Strip While also being weekend drivable still.
