pretty full on - similar to mine. work full time, CPA just started, working on a couple of business opportunities, working with a couple of guys to buy into a franchise, training for fitness, property and shares review (although this could be considered as time to myself).

but i sure as hell dont go chucking wrenches and stuff on the roads.....

think people just need to chill out a bit more.....

make it harder to get and keep your licence - problem solved.

I agree. It's way too easy to get a license thesedays. I passed my test after doing just 20 hours on my L's. It wasn't until after I got my license that I actually learnt to drive adequately.

There are so many drivers out there making stupid mistakes on the roads, and it all comes down to simple things like checking your mirrors and indicating. Were people not taught these things when they were learning? :P

Cyclists... 2+ taking up an entire lane always shits me. Especially those wankers every Sat morning down beach road or whatever that roads called... even i had the occasional day dream of stealing a car and plowing through them all. I remember going down there on 2 occasions doing over time for work on the weekend and being stuck behind them cause they were taking up BOTH lanes at 10kmh.

If drifters and drag racers cant use the road for their hobby why can these tards take up an entire road to do theirs (other then the obvious reason that it doesnt endanger other peoples lives directly).

I do need help for my road rage tho... although i never act out at other people in a dangerous way, all i do is high beaming them or give them the finger with the occasional brash comment lol

Yeah I know what you mean about cyclists taking up a lane. I have some friends who are cyclists and I brought this up with them, the explanation was they do it so cars HAVE to go around, not cut close to them and sneak past. They say that a lot of cars cut too close and some clip them so they take up the whole lane instead. It STILL pisses me off but I think the real fix it dedicated bike lanes and paths, just get them off the road. They should NOT mix with cars.

If people learn to:

Merge

Not block the right hand lane

Look left and right BEFORE reaching an intersection

Not ride in the middle of the lanes

Stay out of the right hand lane if driving a truck

Then there might not be so many road rage incidents

Our licences are too easy to get, and to keep. Far too easy... It rained this morning, and I saw the aftermaths of at least 3 accidents. Learn how to drive, or get off the road

The majority of melbournes motorists are a bunch of brain dead idiots who spend more time looking at their speedo rather than where they are going. They are inconsiderate and most have as much road sense as a dog. The best bit is these idiots teach their kids to drive...

all states are bad, but drive around sydney and people acknowlege they are not the only car on the road and make an effort to flow. they all sit on or above the speed limit.

it is proven that not keeping left causes cancer. true story.

i agree, there is an article in the new top gear australia magazine about how easy it is to get your licence hear compared to in europe, also about that on the autobahn that people will stick to there lanes and while driving at these speeds traffic flows nicely and also will keep you concentrating considering your usally doing about 160km/h. also the best thing is you get fines for tailgating which i think is the best thing ever i wish we had that hear instead of stupid speed cameras everywhere.

anywho i also suffer from raod rage but not at a point where i would get out of my car and do anything i just get really frustrated and will flash my lights and the occasional finger and stuff like that but sometimes after driving i need to take some deep breaths to calm down and lower my heart rate cause i get so angry. for starters old people are really annoying they dont have a clue where they are and dont even know that there are anybody else on the road i have nearly had my car smashed into because they never look and just drift over and damn they drive slow holding up everyone. also im sick of slow people sitting in the right lane not overtaking and wrecking everyone cause they wont move until its nearly single lanes and they pick up there speed so they just make it past the other car. and finally truck drivers, ive had my window cracked from a truck decideing to pull out on a 100km/h road in front of me making me hit my brakes and he flings up rocks. also when they cut straight through roundabouts and the way they speed is ridiculous i saw one doing easily about 80 in a 50 zone when i was going to work today he sat in the right lane overtaking people at speeds that were way to unsafe in a built up area like that. they think they own the roads and should really learn some respect for other motorists.

sorry about the long speach but i really needed to get some of that off my chest i do have more to say but that will do i think. ;)

ps. just today i saw someone go through an intersection with pedestrian crossing at easily over 100km/h with a speed limit of 50 he went that fast that my car shook and i couldnt even get his licence plate.

ok well i can understand that reasoning but at the same time it is actually against the rules of the road. If they do it for sport or training then they need to do what we all have to do and go to designated areas where theyre not endangering themselves and others.

I generally dont have an issue with a couple of riders out getting some exercise, but when theyre in a massive group they should be prepared for some backlash if theyre going to block lanes.

Have you guys driven down beach road on a Saturday or Sunday morning? The amount of cyclists is insane - there's hundreds - and sometimes they'll take up the entire road and you have to get on the horn just to get them to let you through.

Then if you look next to the road there is a designated bike path! Why not use it?

Eeeeeerm no, it's actually not against the rules of the road. 2 abreat is legal, more than that deserve to be run down. Hey I agree with you but it's legal.

    • I guess one thing that might be wrong is the manifold pressure.  It is a constant -5.9 and never moves even under 100% throttle and load.  I would expect it to atleast go to 0 correct?  It's doing this with the OEM MAP as well as the ECU vacuum sensor. When trying to tune the base map under load the crosshairs only climb vertically with RPM, but always in the -5.9 column.
    • AHHHH gotchaa, I'll do that once I am home again. I tried doing the harness with the multimeter but it seems the car needed a jump, there was no power when it was in the "ON" position. Not sure if I should use car battery jump starter or if its because the stuff that has been disconnect the car just does send power.
    • As far as I can tell I have everything properly set in the Haltech software for engine size, injector data, all sensors seem to be reporting proper numbers.  If I change any injector details it doesnt run right.    Changing the base map is having the biggest change in response, im not sure how people are saying it doesnt really matter.  I'm guessing under normal conditions the ECU is able to self adjust and keep everything smooth.   Right now my best performance is happening by lowering the base map just enough to where the ECU us doing short term cut of about 45% to reach the target Lambda of 14.7.  That way when I start putting load on it still has high enough fuel map to not be so lean.  After 2500 rpm I raised the base map to what would be really rich at no load, but still helps with the lean spots on load.  I figure I don't have much reason to be above 2500rpm with no load.  When watching other videos it seems their target is reached much faster than mine.  Mine takes forever to adjust and reach the target. My next few days will be spent making sure timing is good, it was running fine before doing the ECU and DBW swap, but want to verify.  I'll also probably swap in the new injectors I bought as well as a walbro 255 pump.
    • It would be different if the sealant hadn't started to peel up with gaps in the glue about ~6cm and bigger in some areas. I would much prefer not having to do the work take them off the car . However, the filler the owner put in the roof rack mount cavities has shrunk and begun to crack on the rail delete panels. I cant trust that to hold off moisture ingress especially where I live. Not only that but I have faded paint on as well as on either side of these panels, so they would need to come off to give the roofline a proper respray. My goal is to get in there and put a healthy amount of epoxy instead of panel filler/bog and potentially skin with carbon fiber. I have 2 spare rolls from an old motorcycle fairing project from a few years back and I think it'd be a nice touch on a black stag.  I've seen some threads where people replace their roof rack delete with a welded in sheet metal part. But has anyone re-worked the roof rails themselves? It seems like there is a lot of volume there to add in some threads and maybe a keyway for a quick(er) release roof rack system. Not afraid to mill something out if I have to. It would be cool to have a cross bar only setup. That way I can keep the sleek roofline that would accept a couple bolts to gain back that extra utility  3D print some snazzy covers to hide the threaded section to be thorough and keep things covered when not using the rack.
    • Probably not. A workshop grade scantool is my go to for proper Consult interrogation. Any workshop grade tool should do it. Just go to a workshop.
