woulda had my car on the dyno if not for an air leak in the right rear.... if i had a jack I coulda swapped the wheel to the front and dynoed the car in rwd but ohwell, shit happens.

Ill take some pix with my craphouse cameraphone too

^^^ Sorry to here that those rims arent up to your standards

Go easy on the lad. He's probably got the best car with the best display at the show, has a big name in the industry and is the most sought after trend setter ... altho he's a camry driver. :D

What is the world without opinions :)

Damo your car is RBR-034 right? wtf is with the gay rims? Parked near dyno today (saturday) with some chrome on it?

^^^^ hang on, aren't you some teenage high school tool who trolls these forums, yet doesn't even own a Skyline? Not sure you should be knocking anyone's ride mate .... especially Damo's, as it is one of the tidiest R34s around and I think the wheels are PORN!

If you drove a camry, you'd hate everyone who drove a skyline too :D

Going to the show today Andy? A bunch of us are meeting beforehand at 12 ... can PM you the details.

you better check yourself b4 you wreck yourself buddy

Well, i was going to say something, but i guess i dont have to. They were rims for the show, and the drift teks are now back on, so you can breathe a sigh of relief.

well if you came on Sunday, the power quality was excellent, you missed a 503awkw WRX, a 502awkw 33 GTR VSPEC and a 458rwkw R33 GTS-T. Cars like mine only entered to get more points for the team. But seriously, if you wanna see tough cars on the dyno, don't go to autosalon.

:O I'll keep my trap shut on this topic as it seems to get some peoples panties in a knot!!

ps: its funny how gay chrome gets added for...........

Glad to hear you put your old wheels back on!!

Autosalon runs from the tough car-producing beast that is AJD!!

AJD will reign supreme in Adelaide and banish Autosalon to NSW/VIC where it can frollick in the fields of RICE!!

Give me AJD over 6" LCD's in the engine bay, 4WD with scissor doors and WRX's wih 22" spinners anyday!!

*Edit* - P.S. Damo, very nice 34.

    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
