Standard Bov In S2 Stagea

I was told that my stagea would not pass a road worthy (victoria) with the none standard BOV it has.I was surprised as it was checked by "Vic Roads" and was passed when I first got the car .Can anyone tell me if this is the case and if so what the "standard" set up is on the S2???
