Cooked My Car Rb30de?

Hi guy's i cooked my r32gts25 about a week ago. The head is going cost $600 to get fixed + the bottom end went as well. Iv got a low km rb30 bottom end that i can use. Do you think i should get the head fixed and do it. Or would my cash b spen better in other ways. Im just trying to get my car back on the road and think this mite b a cheep way out for me.

The R32 RB25 head is the easiest head to fit on the RB30 block. All you need is an RB30 head gasket and RB25DE pistons and away you go. Well, pretty much...

Bit more involved than that, but still fairly straight forward.

Depends how cheap you're talking about as cheap?

If you can get the 30 built for less than 1200, yeah. When i bought my GTS the guy said that if the engine lets go, you can pick up a new engine/gearbox for 1500 or so, so if you can get it done cheaper than buying another 25, hell yeah!

I don't know, but you may need to get another ECU as well - just another cost to think about.
