lol who cares about the exhaust when buying the car yo

I actaully found your average na vs turbo, the na is usually a tad more expensive :|

Obviously the mods make the difference I'm talking about completely standard...

I looked for about 3 months and almost baught myself a turbo becuase I was starting to get tired of looking for a na... but one popped up for me just before I decided that.

I'd say your standard NA well looked after is about 12 asking price (My research is about 6 months old)

Your cheaper ones down to about 9 but all the ones I looked at, at that price = was dodge

You should have gotten one twelve months ago!

As i pleasantly found out the other week, thanks to the new p-plate restrictions across the country the market value on an NA has actually gone up! (which is quite fortunate, seeing as i'm off my p's shortly, and i'll have time to sell up before the boatloads of NA's start coming over!)

but yeah, i'd say 11-12k is about the ballpark.

same here... the mods on mine just keep going up and up.

R34 GTR seats and Nismo LMGT4 rims are worth about 1/2 the car!!!! ridiculous!

Pics or ban when new wheels come!

And if your selling and want to return to stock.. You know who to contact about your seats :(

That's fairly high. My car is in pretty nice condition, slight wear and tear on the interior, but drives perfectly. 115,000k, factory sun roof, alarm, rims, new sound system and varex exhaust.

I'd be surprised if I could get $10k for it. I won't sell it for 8 or 9 or even 10 thousand simply because I know that the mechanical condition of the car is top notch, and is probably worth more than that. How you prove this to a buyer though I don't know.

i bought my GTS from a dealer, $11,990. 94 model with 86000ks on the clock. car is in mint condition, only slight blemishes here and there. considering its 14years old i think i did pretty well...constantly getting compliments.

tasteful mods can increase value depending on what they are, i bought mine as a dead stocker + exhaust. new sound system goes in this week and got my wheels last week, extra tinting next week. washed every fortnight, always shiny

i wouldnt pay less than 9 or more than 13. you get what you pay for.

From a dealer, its fair enough I guess. Privately that car would prob go for 9-10k. Which would put it in your "dodgy" category, which is why I was getting confused.

hey guys as the topic says what is the cost of a r33 n/a manual with exhaust these days

Hi , I have a black r33 GTS 1995 for sale ! Im in sydney i havent advertised it yet . I recently brought another skyline and looking to sell this one in the next few weeks and was just searching out some prices. I believe for the age of the car its one of the best examples you will find , However its auto . Its done 98,000km and already had the major service and the things changed at 60,00km when i brought it. I have some pics but will post them when i advertise it.

If you have any idea what price i should advertise it for would be helpful . Its got a few extra's nothing major and i listed them below.

If it's in mint condition, I'd probably pay... $7000-8000. The auto really brings the value down.

Then again, you've just gotta find the right buyer. I'm sure there are people out there who'd want a non-turb auto for just cruising around, but finding them is the hard part.

i know it's a pain in the arse, everyone thinks they can force the seller into a bargain.

i've been thinking of selling lately, i know i'll never get the worth of my mods back - however i still dream that someone will give me 16-17K, even at that price half is mods half is car.

i think the main problem is the only ppl that wanna buy a NA car is P platers and when ur 18, ur always strapped for cash, they simply cant afford 8-9k

    • would a r34 gtr hood line up with gt/gtt stock fenders? after latch, front bumper and hinges are swapped for gtr ones? or would the fenders be too low or high in relation to the hood surface? ( I believe seeing somewhere that gtr front fenders use some type of riser for the sides, but do not know how that relates to stock gt/gtt fenders.)
    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
