Stagea:

Evo:

http://www.my105.com/classified.asp?id=11645

I just had a deal fall through with a guy with a Stagea, he couldnt come up with sufficient funds.

Id consider the Stagea and the TME Evo but I hav no use for a track car unfortunately.

I currently have a few trade offers on the table. Please make an offer if your are genuinely interested.

In the whole time the car has been on the market, I have had one tyre kicker come to look at it, thats it.

Unlike the other guys selling their 34's, I will be replacing mine with another car as its my only car, thats why I'm open to trade offers.

Understanding the economic climate better than most, I have a mortgage, wife, 5 kids and a new business, I know people dont have $50,000 to throw around on toys, thats why I am so open to trade offers. I drive my car 2-3 times a week for 15 minutes at a time, maybe, so I really dont need a $50,000 car.

Please dont be shy in offering trades, I can only say no, and trust me when I tell you that your offer wont be the strangest. When /if the car goes, I should list everything thats been offered lol

Another pic

I thought I would put this up as that only one person has ever come out to look at the car lol

Hey pepe,

Just put it on carsales with some mint photo's and it will sell mate. I had mine on this sight for a month and didnt have any genuine "realistic" enquiries nor did i have anyone come and look at the car. Within a week on carsales i had 4 very genuine enquiries, and the first person to look at the car bought it. My car was about the same spec, etc as yours.

Nice car mate. It will sell, no doubt about it..

Thanks Ben, I'm in no hurry, I only thought I'd sell it seeing I had no licence. Have one now.

I've had 3 enquiries for trade plus cash today alone, nobody is getting a bargain here, this is my dream car, but if the cash is right, anythings for sale.

I've replied to all the pm's and emails.

Your killing me here, I too wish I was in the USA now

I know its a clean car, pity no one else does, thanks for the comments

All pm's replied to, just waiting for the cash adjustment ammounts to come in, I will consider all offers.

I put it to you that at 45k they "are" getting a bargain!!

Nobody is getting this car for $45,000 lol

SAU has this stupid thing where you cant edit your first post.

On the last J Spec email I got today, standard 99 R34 GTR's are still high $50's, mines already here and registered

There is a guy with an RX7 and another with an EVO9 that seem pretty keen in doing a deal, a couple of others havent responded yet once money gets mentioned

Worst case scenario.....I get stuck with a black R34 GTR lol

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
