  • 1 month later...

I had another order from Australia, about one or two weeks later, arrived after some days!

And the point is - Trent (Furious) doesn´t reply to messages any more, he gave me no tracking number (unlike promised) and he gave me no proof of shipping!

So why should I be an total idiot and just wait until the end of days?!

If someone sends me that much money, I´d do all so he feels comfortable.

In the middle of october Trent told me he´s sending out stuff instantly as I give him my address.

Later he insisted in waiting for the cash...ok, he´s worried about his money, no problem.

On october 22nd he tells me he received all the fund...and on november 11th he tells me package was sent about a week ago - so 1-2 weeks after he got the cash?

Why that?

To me it sounds like this was all planned...I checked the home address he gave me, looks like it is wrong, too!

I told him in a message, delays are not a problem for me, but I need to know what´s going on.

And when I send a message all few days and just get a reply once every two weeks...that´s odd

thats weird, trent's normally a very trustworthy guy, think it must be stuck in transit or something... never know freight always gets mixed up. Look at the ACPT carbon shaft thread shafts were sent all over the place from USA. happens.

Yeah I also thought so when I sent him the cash, I just found positive feedback for his deals.

But as I said...when I send a large amount of cash and then it takes two weeks for each reply which lacks real information...this makes me nervous.

It should be in his interest to give me some confidence, instead of "haha what you gonna do"

BTW I sent him two more messages after his last reply, and got no answer...although he´s been online several times since then.

Would you act like that towards one of your customers, if the items get lost?

I bet not...

ok that sucks!

you didnt get a phone no?

dont you have like the "yellow pages" online i aus where you can search for peoples phone no and adres and such?

must find something on him so you can talk to him

otherwise you have to take a trip to aus and watch some kangaroos=)

What's his address? Someone should be able to tell you if it's right or not.

112 Princess Road, Nedlands, Perth, Western Australia, Australia 6009

Hmm... well that address exsists according to whereis.com.au

perhaps you should do some google street viewing

Adam

I´ve done exactly that, and looks like there is a bus station or something at this location?

With a Mercedes parking next to it :D

Whoa i was going to buy this kit when it was up for sale in another thread with other stuff for sale, lucky i changed my mind i guess.

Hey why don't you post this in the W.A. Section http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/We...tralia-f23.html , you might have more chance of getting someone who knows him.

Sorry to say Andy, but I smell bullshit. At the very least a receipt for sending the turbo kit to you should be provided. International freight normally has tracking numbers. The excuse that you were given via PM is a joke - it shouldn'tmatter if it was sent through a busniess or a private sender - a tracking number must be provided in order for them to know where any one parcel is at any given time. Do you know what company it was sent through?

Best of luck with it, Andy. Hope the kit turns up sooner rather than later.

PS, perhaps as a future safegaurd you could use one of the mods as an intermediary and send the mod the money; then have him release the money to to seller once the part(s) arrived.

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
