Any chance that you can place the air guide on my pile of bits?

A drive to Bunbury will be cheaper than the freight at this rate

Hi dude - i am keen to get the radiator ASAP. Can you reply to my PM.

I am keen to pick up on the weekend if possible.

Will have a look 2moro. Have someone else interested in radiator to.

Sorry i havnt got any parts off it yet guys. Been held up again. Should get the autech out of the shed this wkend so we can start stripping the RS4. Been raining heaps down here and the RS4 is out on the lawn so havnt got near it.

I asked about the radiator and have been waiting for two weeks without a car now. You replied and said you would be taking it off shortly so i have waited for you to do this - now you want to sell it to someone else!?

If you are not ready to sell shit dont post it up for sale - and if you want a bidding war try ebay.

Good luck selling you stuff.

I had every intention of getting the radiator out when i said i was going to. But i cant just say sorry love i cant look after our baby right now i have to go pull a radiator out for someone. In the original post i said i was not able to get the parts out until sometime this week, and then i have had a few holdups this week were i have not been able to get near the car. I am ready to sell the parts, i am not a business soley operating on selling these parts, i will get them out when i can. I understand your frustration but dont take it out on me as i can only work on the car when i have time, i have waited over 11months for my car so i know what its like to wait.

I am not interested in a bidding war, the prices posted are what they go for, first in first served. When the parts are out come get them. I have a wedding to go to today then i have got all of 2moro to get the parts people want out, and there's more then just a radiator in the list of parts to remove.

Thanks.

I understand you circumstance as i have kids too and i know how hard it is to get time to work on the car.

Not pissed of that i had to wait, just the lack of reply to PM and then the mention of selling it to someone else after i had clearly told you that i was prepared to pay full price and pick up as soon as you were ready. If you choose to wait 11 months that is your call - i couldnt be bothered messing with time wasters so ordered a new one from Japan.

Thanks

wanker, do you know how much time it takes to remove parts and sell them for next to nothing, wrecking a car takes time and is not fun or a profitable,

people have real lives to deal with aswell,

from another SAU user wrecking a car dealing with twats like you id like to say this, go f**k yourself.

Go away C*ckslider - your opinion is not valid or wanted here.

-If you dont want to pull parts off then dont post them up for sale.

We all have real lives and i have a car that hasnt moved for 3 weeks while i wait for 2 sellers to offer stuff for sale then be unable or unwilling to sell within a month of offering and then after being patient they decide to sell to someone else.

As i said above - i dont mind waiting as i have similar family circumstance but to then be told somone else might be buying. Dont waste my time, if you want to sell to someone else go for it but let me know so i can buy elsewhere.

You can reply here but probably better to do PM if you feel you need to so this guy can actually get back to selling stuff.

Shotgun the passenger side wind deflector!

The only reason i mentioned someone else might take it is because there buying a heap of other stuff. I dont want to cause shit or start an arguement. I know what its like to what for parts trust me, especially as im 2 hours from perth its not easy for me.

I honestly have not had the time to get near the car. I have someone else coming 2moro to get some parts from it i havnt even got off the car yet. I have been that busy.

And to daveb the passenger side wind deflector is broken sorry. The end is snapped of near the mirror.

Front guards sold

Front LH door trim sold

Front Half shafts sold

Rear window inside trim sold

And some other trims piece's

cheer's brad... Need anything else??

Front end of car is now completley dissasmebled.

Motor will be out soon.

the autech doesnt have the passenger wind deflector in good condition does it? if it does ill take it (if u dont need it), this is the main part i wanted from the start. Thanks for holding the parts too, ive installed the rear window trim and stuff already, looks abit neater now.

    • Hi, is the HKS  Tower Bar still available ? negotiable ? 🤔
    • From there, it is really just test and assemble. Plug the adapter cables from the unit into the back of the screen, then the other side to the car harness. Don't forget all the other plugs too! Run the cables behind the unit and screw it back into place (4 screws) and you should now have 3 cables to run from the top screen to the android unit. I ran them along the DS of the other AV units in the gap between their backets and the console, and used some corrugated tubing on the sharp edges of the bracket so the wires were safe. Plug the centre console and lower screen in temporarily and turn the car to ACC, the AV should fire up as normal. Hold the back button for 3 sec and Android should appear on the top screen. You need to set the input to Aux for audio (more on that later). I put the unit under the AC duct in the centre console, with the wifi antenna on top of the AC duct near the shifter, the bluetooth antenna on the AC duct under the centre console The GPS unit on top of the DS to AC duct; they all seem to work OK there are are out of the way. Neat cable routing is a pain. For the drive recorder I mounted it near the rear view mirror and run the cable in the headlining, across the a pillar and then down the inside of the a pillar seal to the DS lower dash. From there it goes across and to one USB input for the unit. The second USB input is attached to the ECUtec OBD dongle and the 3rd goes to the USB bulkhead connected I added in the centre console. This is how the centre console looks "tidied" up Note I didn't install the provided speaker, didn't use the 2.5mm IPod in line or the piggyback loom for the Ipod or change any DIP switches; they seem to only be required if you need to use the Ipod input rather than the AUX input. That's it, install done, I'll follow up with a separate post on how the unit works, but in summary it retains all factory functions and inputs (so I still use my phone to the car for calls), reverse still works like factory etc.
    • Place the new daughterboard in the case and mount it using the 3 small black rivets provided, and reconnect the 3 factory ribbon cables to the new board Then, use the 3 piggyback cables from the daughterboard into the factory board on top (there are stand offs in the case to keep them apart. and remember to reconnect the antenna and rear cover fan wires. 1 screw to hold the motherboard in place. Before closing the case, make a hole in the sticker covering a hole in the case and run the cable for the android unit into the plug there. The video forgot this step, so did I, so will you probably. Then redo the 4 screws on back, 2 each top and bottom, 3 each side and put the 2 brackets back on.....all ready to go and not that tricky really.
    • Onto the android unit. You need to remove the top screen because there is a daughterboard to put inside the case. Each side vent pops out from clips; start at the bottom and carefully remove upwards (use a trim remover tool to avoid breaking anything). Then the lower screen and controls come out, 4 screws, a couple of clips (including 3 flimsy ones at the top) and 3 plugs on the rear. Then the upper screen, 4 screws and a bunch of plugs and she is out. From there, remove the mounting brackets (2 screws each), 4 screws on the rear, 2 screws top and bottom and 3 screws holding in the small plates on each side. When you remove the back cover (tight fit), watch out for the power cable for the fan, I removed it so I could put the back aside. The mainboard is held in by 1 screw in the middle, 1 aerial at the top and 3 ribbon cables. If you've ever done any laptop stuff the ribbon cables are OK to work with, just pop up the retainer and they slide out. If you are not familiar just grab a 12 year old from an iphone factory, they will know how it works The case should now look like this:
    • Switching the console was tricky. First there were 6 screws to remove, and also the little adapter loom and its screws had to come out. Also don't forget to remove the 2 screws holding the central locking receiver. Then there are 4 clips on either side....these were very tight in this case and needed careful persuading with a long flat screw driver....some force required but not enough to break them...this was probably the fiddliest part of the whole job. In my case I needed both the wiring loom and the central locking receiver module to swap across to the new one. That was it for the console, so "assembly is the reverse of disassembly"
