okay guys. I was looking through the forums today and I spotted this picture of a skyline with major cosmetic styling. What I want to know is what you guys think of it and if you can identify the type of skyline it is. Im having issues cause of the amount of styling on it. Reason I want to know is that Im thinking of getting a skyline and going all out on it, preferably an r34 gtr and I like the look of this one. Was thinking maybe try something like that when I get mine (or if I get mine :) )

This is the Skyline

i see the photoshop cause of the aero styling on the door, but I was thinking of getting the body custom made depending on everyones opinions. Yes I have the money (or can get the remaining) because I dont spend it on anything else as Im in the army (everything else is paid for). My only issue with it is the door, which would make it impossible to actually open the car.... which kinda sucks when you actually wanna use it. Do you guys think it is too ricer? And no Im not just looking to mod the body. Im hoping to put about $50-$60 grand into the engine and performance.

u could prolly have the doors like that if u make them suicide doors....

If I had the cash why not. Mate if you love it go for it. It will be ur ride not ours. Its been my wallpaper for few days now tho lol. But yeh it will be even sweeter if it can walk the walk (performance). Just do it and think about it later :bunny:

god I hate these threads, what do I care what you do to "Your" car... If you like it do it, If I can help in any way ask, but don't say "Will you guys envy me/still like me if I do this" ffs

I think it looks very unique... and f'ing expensive...

yup, that much i gathered. but (and dont take this in a disrespectful way), if you hate these threads so much, why do you still go to the effort of clicking on them.

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
