what will be your budget.

Are you only interested in the 34.

You could buy a nice 33gtr about the same for a 34gtt if your open to others.

Just remember importing is not an option at the moment unless your loaded. So waiting for that special car at the right price can take alot of time. Importing takes ages anyway.

Pretty much only want a 34 man, I love 33's but love 34's more. Na I wont import right now ill go interstate to find one. Ill get what i wanted to in the beginning, a black manual GTT. Im 25 now so insurance will be little better and my driving record is pretty good.

Yoyo i remember ur pics from a while ago, yeh i like it a lot. only problem is cos the car is N/A at the moment i feel that putting my kit and new wing on will be a bit gay, thats my opinion anyway, yeh it will look nice but personally ill feel like im tryin to be somethin im not. so im thinkin until i save for new motor a sleek low look will be more suited.. what do you think?

Better off selling it altogether and buying a mint GTt with a few mods, easier and actually cheaper than engine swapping your n/a, you'll have to get the triple guage cluster, new brakes and the motor and at the end of the day it will just be a real expensive r34GT.

As far as the kit, it's your car, your money. I'm not gonna tell you how to spend your hard earned (although I will happily spend it for you >_< ) So just do what you feel is right. As long as you don't get carried away and add GTR badges I don't see how you're trying to make it something it's not, the aforementioned engine swapping would be more like that. I personally hate lowered cars, just me that's all; a lowered car just screams uncomfy, babied around speed humps and completely off balance during cornering(lowered by coilovers is a different story), but that's just me as i said.

Do what you want, even thought it's n/a r34's are a lot better than the majority of oz delivered cars of the same vintage.

that rear bumper looks pretty cool .. which one is that ?? I need a new kit for my car, sick of the stockie look ...Also does anyone know how much a r34 gtr wing goes for and where to find one? Is the visibility better worse or the same compared to the standard gtt wing? So many questions i know..

The bumper is a nismo one, pretty sure carmate in sydney does a copy version.

GTR wing I had was a lowered version which decreased visibility of cars about 2 second gap behind, the rest was fine

I bought mine off someone here on the forums, I'll be farked if I can remember what I paid it was that long ago

Yeh thats what im gona do, but besides the conversion costs i simply cant be stuffed >_< . lol maybe we should change this topic title.. ah well 2 topics for price of one!

Ok back on track! car is sold and Gtt will be on its way soon, pretty much still want the wing off if anyone can add more advice please do so, but still might be a few weeks till i do it as the car im getting will need couple other mods first. Cheers guys!

^^^ Your bodykit looks so hot...and fat..

damn man, ur 34 is hot, is that a veilside rear bar?

1R34son you sold that heaps quick i thought being an n/a it would be very hard, good work man.

Where are you getting the car from. Importing and dealerships should be out of the question with the current exchange rate.

driftmeister - Is there a purpose to that wing ie track or is it for look?

Yeh there was nothing wrong with the car in and out which is why probably sold quick, more than likely getting a GTT private from over east. Got a couple I want looked at one is yellow! with tien ss suspension already in lol other is a black one. I probably want the black more than the yellow since i already had yellow but we'll see.

Thanks for the comments. Yes bro, that's a complete Veilside kit plus the GT wing. Will post up all round look maybe tomorrow.

I actually like the de-wing look but notice it does effect the high speed stability where the rear feels too light though it has less drag to achieve top speed. Maybe a "duck lip" would help slightly. I usually go for a blast in mix twisty backroad + highway every week so the GT Wing really help to make the rear behave more predictable.

The R34 body shape really need the wing if handling is your priority over looks., that's just my opinion.

Ok car will be a couple weeks now, If anyone can keep an eye out for a black wingless boot lid that would be awesome! Otherwise anybody recommend places to ring and get quotes for patching up holes on the boot lid? Thanks!!

Steal Andrew's (Hoony)?

Where did you advertise your car? I need mine gone ASAP!

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
    • When you pulled it off, there is no signs of blown head gasket? Is it possible you have some other issues going on? Possible cracked blocked? Or do you think it's straight up lifting the head? Did you check what the head was torqued to before pulling it down (To see if possibly they're stretching, or starting to break threads out etc)?
    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
