Oh, BTW peoples, the current(?) AutoSalon magazine has the results from the last one we were in, with a snap of Beer Baron's R32 GT-R (and some of Xmetal's old Stagea showing too).

It's issue 71, with a blue 2JZ-powered IS300 Lexus on the cover.

Good stuff Paul...

be warned, we may attack your car with SAU stickers if it doesn't have one on there by the weekend :P

Also

the "Haltech Performance Arena", is that where the dyno will be?

Fridays weather forecast = RAIN - Noooooooooo!!!!!!

I dont know what to do, no point in polishing the car only to have to drive from Newcastle straight after in the Rain.

Might have to just wash it here, drive down in the rain and polish it at the venue??? Cant wash it in Sydney unless there is a car wash cafe very close??

I hope the forecast changes by Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bakes, if you polish the car before you leave, it'll be easier to dry off if it rains on the way down, as the water should bead up better and probably slide off on its own.

Bring a chamois, some detailing cloths and some Meguiars Quik Detailer (or a similar product) to use when you get down here, and also to use over the weekend for touch-ups.

Problem solved! :):(

    • Yeah I also looked at Plazmaman, but, it ended up alot  cheaper getting black ones through EFI when you also added in the delivery cost
    • Nice shot! They look super clean. The roof rack delete on the black one is interesting. Would like to see more pictures from different angles. It's subtle but could make quite a difference to how the car looks in profile.
