You could fit some from a 200sx S13, the pcd and everything is the same as i use s13 steelies for drifting.

If your struggling, try www.rarerims.co.uk

They have loads of 4 stud wheels and you can upload a pic of your car and add pics of the wheels on to see what they look like in their virtual garage.

If you want to do the 5 stud conversion you'll need the hubs, calipers and disc n pads off a GTST.

Not sure on price wise as i'm in UK so prices differ from you guys.

Tim, the 200SX is called the S15 in Australia. (just to clear up any confusion).

Ross, all the hub conversion details have been outlined before. I believe someone even posted up a DIY outlining their progress. Have a look around the forum for details.

There are plenty of 4 stud rims around, you just need to know where to look. Yahoo Auctions is a good place to start, with heaps of WORK, NISMO, RAY, BBS rims floating around.

cant believe i'm saying this, but check out nissan silvia forums. they have heaps of traders who specialise in bringing in 4 stud rims with decent widths and diameters

Call up Jap workshop/importers and get quotes.

you might find that its quite affordable because you get a good brake upgrade at the same time.

My opinion would be go 5 stud. I just converted to 5stud on my R32. Im pretty decent mechanically, but I paid a workshop to do it all right the first time. It took the bloke just 1 day to do.

GL!

Eug is right, if you look theres plenty. i have 18" wheels in 4stud, decent width and offset too for an aus rim. it is painstaking but once you find the right wheels its all worth it in the end.

as long as you get wider than 7.5" and nothing with offsets above +38

Ahh, i didn't know that.

Over here we have the 200SX S13 and S14 and the S15 Sylvia

IMO its not really worth it (going through all the conversion) because you also need to upgrade calipers etc etc, which ofcourse is great for safety, but for non turbo power I would say its overkill... but you do both at the same time when you do the 5 stud conversion.

If your in melb I can recommend a place that did mine for quite a decent price.

    • I already have the ability to datalog the voltage... what I can't do is correlate it to what the gauge is showing when I'm looking at the data at a later date. Or something like this. Except getting the oil to 125C+ involves me going 200+kmh at the track so you can imagine this is a little tricky unless I do something like note what the voltage is when I am at the top of 5th gear so I have a point to reference on. Drove car today. O2 still reading richer because hopefully not a leak instead of massive restriction I've introduced. Car really doesn't sound like a LS. It's quite strange. Pulled a bit of fuel out up top. This does potentially explain why my spark plugs looked like the car was running pretty over-rich. If I was tuning it to a ~12.7 which in reality was far richer than that in the past. It will be handy to have the dyno WB to compare my WB to to compare notes that's for sure. At this point I'm happy to just sit in the passenger seat and tune the thing given I've got about 7 million hours on the platform lol.
    • Yeah I understand you have to pay for an updated map or subscription service or something. But I can't even find a current map for Australia. My map is dated 2017, but didn't this car version still sell in Australia until 2021?   Also, just as an aside, the navigation system warns you of traffic incidences ahead.....why would they include that on a map they knew is not receiving live information. I am forever going to be warned of an incident that probably existed for 30 minutes 8 years ago.

    • sensible choice....and all 32s should be in yellow
    • Run it in open loop for now, and drop the frequency down. This lowers the resolution and requires more duty cycle to do anything, however good to troubleshoot.
