Hey everyone,

I want to ask about if I got a ER34 Auto Turbo, I want to try to install a after market blow off is that possible? If I try to install it will the car get any problems? Beucase I heard one of my friend he tried to put a aftermarket one on his 32 GTST Auto....when he try to drive, it will easy to turn off the engine by itself.....So I want to confirm is that possible to change a after market one on my 34....if possible which modle and brand is suit for me....

Thanks everyone......

Firstly I won't ask why you want something that'll get you defected and won't add any kw's and probably screw up drivability on your auto 34. Instead, i'll give you the answers you want.

Yes it is possible to install an after market blow off valve (or GTR bov for that matter).

You may experience stalling at the lights on the auto 34.

You will probably need one that is 100% plumb back.

My ER34 has the HKS SSQV and isnt plumb back, never had any problems at all.

LOL PTSHHH PTSHH BRO!!!

it doesnt matter whether its HKS or other.. amto BOV usually gets problems.. sometimes they don't.. cant hurt to try.. howeverit is defectable.. and won't improve anything.. can infact make fuel consumption bad, stalling, etc..

and i don't think you will get the noise in an auto as the sound is make when the clutch is released.. Correct me if im worng

OK i will correct you because you are wrong

every time the throttle is closed and there is enough pressure the BOV will open the clutch has nothing to do with it

an atmo BOV will work fine as long as you set it tight enough not to open at idle and at lower pressure

BOV = *fap* *fap* *fap* *fap* *fap*

Why do you want one? The noise it makes is an absolute giveaway to any cop, it's the most recognizable modification, and will do nothing but land you in hot water.

I still remember the day I ripped my BOV off - haven't looked back since

Exactly. Which is to say, in an auto with your foot flat it won't blow off because the throttle doesn't close.

Take your foot of the throttle in either and it will happen. It's just that taking your foot off the throttle in a manual is typically associated with a gear change.

this is what i am meaning.. of course he could just put it in neutral.. or take his foot off the accelerator when in high revs.. but there's only one reason to do that.. LOOK AT MEEEE... OVER HERE GUYS :D LOOK WHAT I'M DOING *stall*... Oh shit.. don't look guys..

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
