^^^ a genuine front bar wont fit on a gtt without some good panel work or unless u get all the guards and so on to line it up to.

a girl i know has an east bear kit on gtt and it looks awesome...no fussing around just paint and bolt on...looks pretty much like a gtr front...that ebay one will need abit of work to line it up properly to the car.

east bear front bar can be bought at nengun.com or some other places...is abit pricey but considering its the real japanese quality stuff and theres no stuffing around with it..i would buy it if i was in ur case.

630 for a bar isnt that bad as u can save time and money with fitting. all up for a bit under 900 you would have a bar that is 10times better than a fibreglass cheapy. better quality.

but as far as that seller is concerned from ebay, i bought a bar off him for my old 33 and it was a good fit. quality was good just with fitting still required the holes to b drilled to line up to guard. they werent there.

if u decide to get the ebay 1 let me know how it fits up.

JSAI (jsai.com.au) has the top secret for GTT and was meant to have the Z-tune GTR copy for GTT also. Having said that, GTT will never look like a GTR at the front unless you do the whole conversion ie. you will need a GTR bonnet and brackets (exxy from Nissan), the nose thingy that bridges the gap between bonnet and frontbar

Andrew @ Kudos motorsports has a Genuine R34 GTR front end for $2500 in Qld. You wont find it cheaper* then that in Oz or Japan! *unless you know a midnight wrecker lol

Sorry for hijacking, so if i had GTR fenders, Bonnet, Front bar for my GT-T. Everything will line up good? apart from the bonnet hinges and lock? Or will i have to still get some good panel work on it?

Thanks

to do the front conversion you need ...

gt-r front bumper

gt-r bonnet

gt-r fenders

support brackets from nissan (i think these cost around 950 or so?)

and bonnet clips to fit the bonnet on

ive been looking to do this for awhile, but its really expensive lol. i think thats all the parts for the front half though.

rear half .. as far as i know, didnt look into this too much but this is what i do know of

gt-r rear fenders

gt-r rear bumper

may need to change tail lights

petrol lid from nissan

may need more though, i never looked into the back half too much.

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
    • If it (the code) wasn't still current, it should have gone away by itself by now. No, nothing it 10/10. But it is quite likely. Everything else to do with the ignition could still be responsible (which is wires and connectors). The car is an old piece of shit now, so all the wires and connectors are also old pieces of shit.
    • Lock me in mate, although I'm not sure if I'll be heading up from Goulburn or down from Sydney, either way, return will be back to Goulburn
