There aren't any garages left and as it is, we have three (maybe four) cars in our single (that allows for two cars at once). We'll be sleeping there in our garage on pit lane. The advantage of having a garage means no lining up for cruise sessions (the event will likely get 800-1000 entries - no shit!) but you will still have ample opportunity to play on the track even if you can't scoot straight out.

Bring your mates in their cars. I know you'll love it mate.

Shame they're all sold out! So ill enter, but where can you park between driving events? From memory the place just gets packed out

Ill start asking around and see how many can make it

On the skid pan usually i think.

Im in your boat Steve, garages sold out the day i sent off my application form ;)

So if anyone can squeeze two cars in :)

someone needs to squeeze me into a garage too :)

dudes, stop arguing. You should both win because you're both such top blokes. I think if one of you wins, you should high-five and buy each other an icy-cold beverage.

Actually, I will buy you both icy-cold beverages because you're both such top blokes.

If I could be anything in the world, I'd be you guys. Top blokes!

Cheers,

Guilt-Toy

You Bastard!!

You know who you are.

Dave have you seen if there's a "garage reserve" list?

If not we should get on it ;)

Screw it! We will build our own garage!

Ill bring tarp,staples and twine.

A garage full of mis-fits. It will be the best garage EVA!

You've just reminded me of something that will work!

Steve - no reserve list

Guilt-Toy - BWAAHAHAH

NYTSKY - Great idea. Seriously.

Ive called anyway, will see what they have to say incase anyone drops out

I went last year but only ran a couple of times as my transfer case was shot. There wasn't any parking on the skid pan when I went as that was the pre-stage area for the cruise sessions - and it gets seriously booked up. I waited for like 2 hours for a 10 minute cruise session. The garages are definately worth it if you're into cruising.

The straight up racing was alright, but with a 2wd GTR no fun.

Last year weren't that many imports - mainly big blown v8's everywhere. but they were really nice machinery.

Also, watch out for hoons that put their cars into the walls. The day I went 2-3 got totalled. These guys in big muscle don't realise that their cars don't turn that well - esp when doing a burn out. DOH!

It was fun for me, but not nearly as good as real track time where you can really put the foot down into a corner.

So i entered today couple questions

Can i fit my race exhuast?

Is there space for normal entires to change wheels?

hmmm if i fit the race exhast would need to hire a car trailer to get there tho not sure it would be worth the cost tho the HKS twin looks and sounds nice

Thanks Brad

P.S How do you do a powerskid???

There is a cubic butt-load of cruise sessions so come to our garage and take your pic. You'll have my r33, paul's r32, stuart's ls1r32 and a turbo astron galant to choose from.

Actually, you drive mine, I'm cruising in the ls1 r32.

    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
