Hey guys,

Regretfully, the time has come to sell my over 2 year project. The original plans were to build a headturning streetcar/showcar/dyno queen or something along those lines, but before i finished it completely, ive come to realise there is more to life than cars, thus the sale.

Exterior

Standard GTR Kit with N1 Vents in the front bar. The car has been sprayed in Nissan Daytona Blue with Pearl in all areas, Spies Hecker Colour has been used along with MIPA Clear. Paint is currently straight out of the gun, hasnt been touched at all since the spray. There is not one single mark, chip, scrape, scratch on the entire car. A new front windscreen has also been fitted and only the standard R32 GTR wheels will be supplied with great rubber.

Engine / Driveline

The engine has had a full rebuild, CP forged pistons and rings have been used, all new bearings, along with a full balance, new water pump and N1 oil pump. The head has also been fully reconditioned and is used with an ACL Race Series full metal gasket. R33 GTR Turbos have been fitted for the run-in on standard boost, which has been only 40kms. All genuine Nissan gaskets were used.

Stainless steel 3" front pipes are fitted along with a HKS Super Dragger exhaust which opens up to 3.7". Its also fitted with a heavy duty clutch, new Pedders front upper control arm bushes, and new brake pads. Injectors and radiator flushed, all new filters, fluids, belts etc etc.

Interior

All stock, immaculate condition.

----

Its a great car to drive, it was a clean and tidy car to begin with, I just made it the way I wanted it. No rattles, knocks, whistles, whines, the box is smooth, diff is tight, wheel bearings quiet, id say the kms could actually be near true!

All it needs is a decent set of turbos after its been run-in for a few kms, a clutch, a couple of supporting mods and away you go. Everything else has been done, no expense spared.

All serious enquiries welcome, mechanical checks etc are fine if convenient, interstate buyers welcome, and finally to be blunt dont contact me if you dont have anywhere near the money, or lowball me.

Im sure theres heaps more to list, if youre serious come have a chat, the car needs to be seen to be appreciated in detail.

Will give the car a wash soon, as its real dusty atm in the pics, take some better pics and post them up as soon as I can.

Cheers,

Mat.

I have had the privilege to drive this beautiful machine and it is by far the smoothest and the nicest car i have ever driven, car is like brand new and if i had the money i would no doubt buy it

Cheers guys.

The car was painted by Mikko at MP Smash in Clayton, the paint is untouched, as in, its still straight out of the gun, has not been cut, buffed, rubbed or anything since being applied. His paintwork is second to none.

Let me say guys, driving this car around town its very impressive, it REALLY TURNS ALOT OF HEADS. Young, old, single, married, they look.

The car gets 450km around town to a tank! Very economical and also shows that the car couldnt be running better.

The engine has just clicked over 1,000km and has had its first service with oil filter and Castrol Edge Sport oil. The GTR boot badge has also been fitted.

    • I've got a 2011 J50 that I imported six years ago. The unmodified factory AV system date and time has always been correct ( Japanese timezone of course ) up until last month. About two weeks ago, at engine start, the system wished me a happy new year ( in Japanese of course ). I can't think of anything that would make the system think that the date had changed, unless the GPS component has failed/reset somehow ? I checked the GPS reception in the system settings, and it can still see the satellites. Has any other J50 owner had this happen ?  It's no biggie, just annoying that it tells me the wrong date anytime I start the engine. 😅
    • Love following your adventures on IG, hopefully if you're still around in Japan when we visit again wouldn't mind going for a few beers with you (that's if you're keen on hearing how I hate Nissans).
    • ok so if i wanted to go 18's i would go for 8's  in front 30+ or 32+ off set at front and the back 9 would be ok? what offset should i aim for.. then can i do some  hunting for wheel rim choices..    If i get this - will this fit all around: Size: 18 x 8.5 +37 - n what tyres size tyre should i get for front n back?
    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
