hey guys

i was just fiddling in engine bay before planning what im gunna polish as part of my detailing and i bumped the radiator and noticed it move4d quite a bit in those rubber things at the top, should it be fairly stiff or is it ok for it be be pretty loose as its got a good cm or two leeway both sides, time for new rubbers ? if so where can i get them ?

Not sure how much movement should be there but there needs to be some to allow for the movement of the engine etc while driving.

I guess those rubber things degrade over time but it shouldn't be bad on a 95 model......

well i am not sure if its too much movement, all i can say is that it can move a fair bit, my mate said that it looked like too much movement, but he has had aussie fords all his life, so maybe they have tighter radiators and the japs like em loose.... hmm, might just get it checked out when i get my new front mount fitted

yer, does the same for mine.. i noticed that once and wondered whether it was normal, but figured it was the way it should be.

Maybe having it on rubber style stoppers helps the radiator aggitate the water a little as you're moving, keeping it slightly cooler? just a guess??
