Arsuming can he beat his team mate. I for one will be incredibly surprised if RBR aren't a serious contender next year simply because we all know what Newey is capable of. Having said that though, I'd also be surprised if Ferrari have 2 mediocre seasons consecutively.

:)

lets not mention '84 to '98 then, where McLaren and Williams took turns making Scuderia Ferrari their bitch for 14 seasons (+ Benetton sneaking one by in '95 with you-know-who at the wheel)

Hahaha I know, I was watching F1 in those days too... Benetton snuck one in there in 94 too. :D

McLaren have always been the most dominant of F1 teams haven't they? Even when stealing technical data from Ferrari and pretty much getting away with it! And some say Ferrari is protected by the FIA or is the FIA... what a fkn joke!!! :bunny:

Funny how the bitch still has more WCC, WDC and more GP wins than McLaren. Williams also have more WCC than Mc too :)

Yeh, reports here in the UK are that he ha agree to the terms and will sign by end of the week...with McLaren. I am not the worlds biggest Hamo fan, but after a year of srapping in 2008, binning it whilst on a podium position with a few corners to go etc etc....well in his 4th season Hamo is going to be stronger again....and Button needs to think carefully about how categorically SMASHED he is going to get beaten next year in a McLaren

In his rookie year the hack Hamo went wheel to wheel with Alonso and circumstances played a part in them only being seperated by one point. Button is still high on his 2009 WDC where he is confusing luck and opportunity with world beating speed.

I so hope this is true as i want to laugh at the 2009 WDC showing how ordinary he is compared to the last 4 WDCs!

could not agree more. button has showed yet again that he cares a lot more about cash than he does about loyalty or about winning. he's used his luck with BGP to get the big pesos for a few years at maclaren which will go well until they realise he is no better or worse than any of the top dozen drivers in F1. maybe he'll look good on their Tag watch ads which should in part make up for any deficiency in the car.

    • Impossible to remove the housing while turbo is installed on the manifold on the engine. So I have to do it anyways. I plugged it so there will not be any debris in there. Will vacuum aswell
    • would a r34 gtr hood line up with gt/gtt stock fenders? after latch, front bumper and hinges are swapped for gtr ones? or would the fenders be too low or high in relation to the hood surface? ( I believe seeing somewhere that gtr front fenders use some type of riser for the sides, but do not know how that relates to stock gt/gtt fenders.)
    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
