Air Conditioning Problems

Recommended Posts

I am having problems with my air conditioning - on hot days it doesn't work. I have had it checked and the gas levels, pressures and temperatures are fine but on hot days it just blows hot air. The air conditioning guy says that it is probably an ecu problem with the climate control - it seems to switch off the air conditioning on hot days. I am also having problems with my fuel gauge never giving an accurate reading and maybe the problems are linked? Anyone else having these sorts of problems with their V35?

Thanks

John

pull the lower dash panel on the drivers side. the in cabin sensor is off to the top left and has a two pin plug and black hose on it. make sure that is plugged in.

if its not then you have the issue you have.

fuel gauge - thats another kettle of fish.

Thanks guys for your suggestions. It works fine up to about 35 deg outside temp and then it blows warm air. I will try all your suggestions - failing that I suppose the Nissan dealer is the next stop!
