NA_Goodness
I remember locking the brakes and almost hitting a tree at an undisclosed speed because I was trying to keep up with everyone else... That being said, I love hills runs! Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/252557-who-likes-the-hills/#findComment-4368366 Share on other sites

taipan73
The hills east of Bunbury, out Ferguson Valley way are great as well as the roads around Bridgtown, Nannup and Balingup You metrosexuals really should get down that way Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/252557-who-likes-the-hills/#findComment-4369507 Share on other sites

taipan73
Yep that is a great road. Have you tried the Nannup/ Balingup road, awesome! Wouldn't know about mushies but the wine and cheese rocks. +11tythe road from Bridgetown to Donelly River is still one of my alltime favourites. taipan73
You get a real mix of road surfaces, some are great, others are narrow and pretty bumpy. Gives the suspension a good workout. Generally the roads around Nannup, Bridgetown and Balingup are pretty good. The roads out in the Furgeson Valley/ Collie area can be a bit rough. what are the road surfaces like? Stinky Rooster
LOL it means he has a diff and suspension that would reduce his kidneys to something resembling a sultana before he got 20kms (For The Mother f**king Lose) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/252557-who-likes-the-hills/#findComment-4369615 Share on other sites
taipan73
LOLS. I personally like the different surfaces, cept when ya start skipping sideways round a tight bend, tends to test you out Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/252557-who-likes-the-hills/#findComment-4369625 Share on other sites

I'd much rather do that stuff in controlled environments where there are no legal compromises.. However, in WA, we have crappy facilities, hence why many people 'risk it' I suppose.. However, I'm not keen on the idea of hurling my car down a narrow piece of sh!tty bitumen, only to be surrounded by gargantuan trees that would cut my car in half like a slab of butter.. I agree that it is fun, but between the real danger, and the fact there are d*ckheads that do give the speed limits a good nudge, I can't see the sense in it..
