After plenty of messing around with different wheels, rotor sizes etc i have finally settled on my F40 setup so not going to even bother bolting on the F50 to see the back to back difference. I think you will find this is the largest Brembo 4 pot brake package, with the rotors being amazingly light for their size.

So up for grabs are:

- pair of F50 calipers with used pads thrown in (nothing special)

- pair of Brembo 370mm rotors and hats.

DO NOT come with lines or radial mounts as i am keeping them.

Calipers are in your usual chips and marks condition, hats are fine with rotors past their best. Fine for driving around but they are 29-30mm thick so wouldnt recommend you track them.

Located in Melbourne and asking $2800. + Delivery

For an extra $200 I can provide some R34 mounts that are for a 340mm rotor, but can either be used as a template to make mounts for 370mm rotor or billet piece sandwiched between the caliper and mount to get the extra 15mm rotor clearance. If you dowel them i dont see a problem with this approach but suggest you use them to machine new correctly sized mounts

For 4k i will fully refurbish the calipers and provide new slotted rotors and lines but no pads.

I have fitted this calipers in my GTT and can honestly say it is excellent! I had to make up an adapter and hat to suit a 355mm disc and it fills up my 18inch nismo LMGT rim space nicely. Braking performance, distance and force improved by up to 65%! but i have shitty nexen tyres so not using the brake to its full potential. So, whoever who's thinking of getting the calipers, i can honestly say buy it! it's worth every penny! :D

Interest but to date the only thing sold is the R34 brackets.

PMs answered and as of this afternoon free delivery to Sydney is off the cards as i am jumping on a plane tonight and wont be back until the end of the week

For what sized rotor and in what state are you in. They are not difficult. Most performance brake places will be able to make them up for you if you give them your car and the brakes with the rotors you want to run. About two days and no way they will cost you more then $600 for the brackets. Most likely around $350, possibly as low as $250 .... it all depends on how much work is in them which is a result of the rotor and wheel you are running

    • I might be way off the mark here.. there must be a T junction under the manifold. That takes manifold pressure through a check valve prior to the T, one side splits out to this bleed off orifice, the other straight to the wastegate actuators.
    • Carrying out some engine due diligence before my first drive in a 260RS that has been in storage for 10+ years, and found two lines that are susposed to be plumbed into the boost control solenoid. One of the lines (the wastegate boost supply line) to actuate the gates, had a bolt in one end blocking it. The other line (main boost signal line) from the very rear of the intake manifold (RB26DETT) and runs up to the boost controller had this pill in the end of it as seen in photos. Other than the obvious (T28 Ceramic turbos might well be cooked)  Can anyone shed any light on if there is any validity at all with this mod, bleeding a constant fixed rate of manifold boost pressure off through this 3mm hole?  Is it deliberate?  Was this a 90s Jap mod done to RB26's? Or has someone just fitted this without any idea of what happens to ceramic T28s if they are not gate controlled?
    • This looks great! Awesome to have the 5 speed with an LSD in this. The Recaro's look like SR2's or SR3's. It's a shame they've been retrimmed as they would have looked sweet in their original colours. I think I'd want my agent to be a little more up front and informative too. I've never imported but I reckon it would make me a little nervous, so the more info the better.
    • Thanks for doing that Duncan! Makes you a good person in my books. We don't get kangaroos or wombats here. But we have bats and it's similar. AFAIK it's often the mums with a baby attached that get hit because they drop lower when starting from a tree. If you hit an animal, check on it. https://www.ifaw.org/au/resources/wildlife-rescue-app An app to get the closest wildlife rescue contact.
