Just returned from a visit with the guy that smashed my car.

Typical bogan, lives in housing trust house with his mum in Elizabeth, the wrecked commodore is in the front yard with another wreck.

They have no insurance, no money and are also stating that i was speeding.

I seriuosly feel like beating the sh1t out of him and his mum.

I only had 3rd party, fire and theft, this is gonna be a long and painfull experience with legal action and at worst, debt collectors (hired goons)

I hope no one has to go through this, but i'm sure i'm not the first person this has happened to.

Getting a crash repairer to inspect the extent of the damage, will seriosly be considering a gtr front.

That makes me so f*#king angry man that is so bullsh!t, if i had the money i would come down there and go round to this f*ckheads house and beat the shit out of him with you.

Like F*ck it was your fault, if you were in the left lane and he was in the right, it is his duty to check over his shoulder, you don't have to be looking out to see if he's f*cking changing lanes or not.

Wat a F*CKHEAD.

But that sucks you dont have full insurance man. I know myself i had a crash last year (very minor) tapped the arse end of a 4wd and bent his precious towbar (poor fella was supposed to go fishing that weekend, oh how i felt so sorry for him............not) anyways i didnt pay the insurance for my car (old r31) the year before but now i have to pay off his insurance company........ so surely if he gets centrelink or sumthing they can take a percentage out of that each week

anyways i hope it works out for you mate.

Ive always had insurance, even paid $2800 for my 1st year on the ZX7R, 2nd year was 2g.

this sucks mate........ shifting blame to you. grrrr makes me so angry.

Im in adelaide and am 6"8 tall 120kg & live other side of town

if you need support at a meeting with this fool plz PM me and I will help you out.

glad you read youre both ok! gotta be thinkful for that

but yeah youll have to take legal action if they dont get scared by a letter of demand

your fire and theft insurance company will probably be happy to give you advice about what you can do and where you stand legally. give them a call

Yeah insurance isnt cheap for us under 25'ers hay...

Im 18 (19 in less than 2 weeks >_< ) but still have comp cover with JustCar. Its costing me about 1000 a year but my excess is massive!

Cheffstagea is also with justcar and he just purchased the 260rs and ITS CHEAPER to insure even with a bigger engine and higher agreed value. WTF?!

Im pretty sure the entire sa stag crew will be on your side on this one mate. sing out at anytime and im sure half a dozen angry wagons will be willing to rock up at this fellows place. Supprised ruby hasnt popped up yet :bunny: angry bikers with attitude i tell you :bunny:

sorry to hear about ur accident. at least no one was hurt. these sort of situations make me so mad and unfortunately they happen far too often. they also make me ashamed to own my commodore. i wish all these d!$&heads would put on their lead shoes and take a long walk off a short pier.

HOLY CRAP! how the hell do you drive your stag? im 6"2 and i struggle with leg room! lol

dude if i were u id b getting sum support from either the cops at least or maybe even going ferther... worst comes to worst ull have to pay a little bit of legal shit... i no how bad it is not having a car... check out viva garage... they have cheep 34 kits going atm... theres a set of 34 gtt lights on the JMS website.... get it assesd and get a break down of what they need to do... ( carl at norwood panel works should be able to help you out there) just go threw it and find shit u need... might have to get a bit of stuff from jap but at the end of the say its better than no stag! ive been given the blame for a crash and 18 months on i got all my $ back coz i took it to court and said it wasnt my fault.... worst comes to worst say he was on his fone >_< haha idk!

i am same height as you and have probs with leg and head space... pretty sure Brendan moved his seat back

yeah I extended the seat rail by 50mm, makes a huge difference. just makes it a 3-seater when Im stretched right out. comfy :P

also got rid of the left foot rest pad, and sit the seat as low as possible. sunroof etc isnt an issue, plenty headroom

Cheers guys for all your support.

My mate works at ALL TYPE CRASH and they do awsome work, so if its repairable a 34 front will be going on.

I may get some money now that Kevin Rudd has given out these bonuses, hope its a large bogan family where i can get all of there bonuses.

But then again they all probably don't work.

my seats are as low as possible and i have to hunch haha... might get leather JJR recaro copies when back in stock, or just GTR seats

    • I don't know specifically. I *do* know that it is very likely that historically most/all undertray replacements remove the inner liners and people just run without them. When you are hectic (or serious) enough to really want/need a different undertray, you are probably also running wider, taller or different offset wheels and the guard liners are the first thing that rub (or as I said in the other thread, they blow out at high speeds anyway) Of course, that is before the pricing went nuts on R34s, nowdays it is much more likely people want/expect to retain the liners to protect their overall investment
    • Haven’t had a chance to drive it properly yet. It was rwd and pissing down rain when I drove it home and now it’s in the air with the so I can change the oil. Going to do the  gearbox oil while I’m at it as well, may even do the diffs
    • On 12th June, the mechanic could not figure out what the issue was, but the car seems to be flooding with fuel. He was suspecting the tune, thus referred me to a tuner. Although the tuner is not familiar with Nistune, last Monday (30th June), he came over to try and re-map it. Despite the tuner trying to completely stop fuel, it kept sounding like it was pushing fuel. Tuner ended up suspecting either the ECU or Injectors. I do not believe the ECU or Nistune is the issue, as the Nistune software reads and communicates properly. Today, I removed the (new) injectors to see if they are clogged or leaking. Surprisingly enough, after those 3 days of driving, injectors 2 and 3 look very blocked. You can see the difference in the picture. I blew a bit on 3, that is why it doesn't look as clogged as 2. I am still unsure if this is what is causing the no start issue, but I am now feeling that I may have bought the injectors and Nistune without the need to do so, as the problem seems to be coming from somewhere else.
